The writing quality isn’t bad, so I don’t have much to say about it. The same goes for updates in other categories—I have much to say here. First, the Story Development is barely mediocre. The MC has the most broken talent in the verse, yet he’s treated like a replaceable soldier. He could be far stronger but wastes time trying to make a girl he just met (because she’s beautiful) fall in love with him. His parents died in a war, and their souls were stolen and turned into monsters, yet he still has the audacity to play around instead of focusing on his goals. In this second volume, his ability allows him to grow stronger simply by sitting and absorbing energy, yet he ventures into enemy territory and gets captured without any protection—other than his leader’s assurance that the enemy “wouldn’t dare” harm him. Are you serious right now? This brings me to Character Design. The story features some of the most nonsensical characters I’ve ever encountered. His vice-captain watches the most promising soldier on the planet get tortured for days in a battle deemed unwinnable by the verse’s power scaling—yet she does nothing. When he miraculously survives and kills the demon, she threatens him with military law. He doesn’t even hold a grudge and instead feels guilty for killing the enemy who tortured him for fun. Then there’s his captain, who sends him on a mission with a 50% survival rate as part of a petty political game. Why send the human with the highest potential (in a time of universal war where billions of humans and trillions of soldiers from other races have died) on a suicide mission? Why not assign it to stronger soldiers? No—let’s risk the one person who could end the war. Finally, World Background. The entire universe is at war and losing, yet characters act like it’s peacetime. The imperial family, which supposedly won a war to seize power, doesn’t brainwash citizens for loyalty or prepare them for total war. Instead, they let people have “normal childhoods.” The lack of urgency or survival mindset makes no sense. Advice to the author: If you want to improve your story, study the lore of the Warhammer verse. It’ll show you how to depict galactic warfare and existential threats realistically.

I love this novel. And the things I like is the way it is written. And the thing I like the most, ohhohohoo.... is the chapter titles, I just love it. Don't get me wrong, I have read many novels to the point where how the story will unfold is already playing in my head, so what I do is, I skip reading unnecessary words, sentences, sometimes even a few paragraphs. But while reading this novel, I still get the flow of story accurately but the sentencing and the way of writing is way too much of my liking that I don't want to skip any words let alone sentences. In fact there are some instances where I scrolled and skipped a paragraph and I know what's written in it, but still went back to read it word by word. haaah... a very good work author, hats off to you
Very well written, story gets interesting with each next chapter, characters are very nicely described to ease imagination for the reader. Looking forward to it.
I just love this novel so much, the main character is so hyper and the author keeps it consistent and the rest of the characters are fleshed out really well. And although it is a bit early, the worldbuilding is shaping up to be really cool. This is absolutely going into my GOAT's readinglist
ok so i really loved the story especially the final like a 100 chapters when he actually started to get real overpowered , I'm liking north while about Steve i feel its gonna go towards that severing emotion trope which idk why but i dont like that much , i like billion's energetic personality but ya it also is kinda getting toned down rn maybe because of being that much revered among all his friends and mentors . Something abt the part where billion and steve got to know about the ferrans being the actual mastermind and not them being the ones who were hold captive , i was really looking forward to the reactions the empire's people will have knowing the news but author never wrote it which i feel is really a miss cuz it was such an interesting part putting it in would not do bad u know in my opinion . also he agreed with Lyrate to go on a date on a recent chapter idk if it was said jokingly cuz that kinda contradicts with the no harem thing not that i mind a harem . and finally ig try not getting into the gf being kidnapped plot cuz i feel author's only go that plot when their brains run out of idea while u on the other hand have great world-building to ever run out of them , i suggest maybe with billion's power up the whole world's talent quota rising as well so the current friends can actually matter even farther into the story though i feel a hind towards that has already been given by the author u know idk just a humble reader here :)

Sorry for my English, but I love reading so much that even a translator doesn't bother me. The writing is quite simple and easy to read. No unnecessary details, but still quite rich. The protagonist is quite unusual, with his own unique charm. He is a cheerful, energetic joker. The atmosphere in the work is terrible. On the one hand, we are told that the galaxy is in danger, that the protagonist's planet is in danger. Soldiers are dying, and their souls are being forged into weapons against humanity. However, these are just words, and the atmosphere of peace and prosperity is evident. (I did not feel hopelessness, tension in the air, or any other signs of war.) In short, the words spoken by the characters do not match the picture presented by the author. But if we consider war as a reality, then the hero behaves, at best, unseriously, and at worst, like an idiot. For example, the hero found out what the spheres do, and instead of going hunting, he follows his friend and girlfriend. Man, you have the opportunity to become stronger, but you use it to flirt? Screw your parents' souls, screw the problems of the universe, it's time for romance!!! And what happens in the volcano defies logic. The commander releases a crazy monster that is impossible to defeat at the hero's level. It's training, the demon won't kill the hero, but she tortured him! What kind of training is this? Spirit? Character? So boiling limbs is also training? Not to mention that this monster can simply kill a gifted newbie!!! (If you want to show the newbie an insurmountable wall, just put a soldier against him.) In short, there is no logic or sense in this scene. It gets worse: the hero tells the commander about his talent. The commander realises the hero's potential. You have a guy who can (potentially) infinitely increase his characteristics; he has a legendary class. What are your next steps? A) Train the protagonist, support him and turn him into the deadliest weapon? B) Send him on a suicide mission with a 50% chance of success for the sake of potential greater power? C) Kill him so that he cannot potentially claim the emperor's power. D) Just leave him alone. In my opinion, everything except B sounds logical, but of course the answer is B. The commander and the author simply lost their logic somewhere for the sake of the plot. How can I believe in a world where people act so illogically? It is not for nothing that in such situations, a different approach is used where the commander wants to get rid of the hero. Then everything would make sense, and most importantly, there would be real stakes at stake. The hero would really risk his life, not this nonsense. An invincible enemy, a suicidal mission — all of this would have a logical basis. In short, the logic in this work is completely off. The general direction of the work is not bad, but if you pay attention to the details, the world simply falls apart.
It's one of the best new novels I've read on this site, The story development could be better, but I'm sure that will come as the author grows. The characters so far seem to be well thought out , but I would love some more background info on them. Overall, this novel has a lot of potential, I'll definitely be keeping up with it hopefully until the end.
This newly developing light novel is an absolute gem and easily deserves 5 stars. The world-building is rich and immersive, drawing you in with layers of detail that make the setting feel alive and full of potential. The main character is written with depth and purpose, balancing growth, flaws, and strengths in a way that keeps you hooked. The dynamics between the characters are equally impressive—every interaction feels meaningful and contributes to the story’s progression. It’s rare to find a novel that captures both heart and intrigue this well. This series needs more recognition and absolutely deserves to be continued!
A very good novel. 1) The MC is cool , strong , funny and arrogant. He is good looking as well. A deadly combination ( he is not a pervert which is a plus as well) 2) MC does not hide behind others and is not afraid to show his strength when needed. 3) Good writing quality
One of the best " OP protagonist" fantasy story I've ever read. Billion is the best kind of protagonist,comedic when necessary and serious when asked for. He has that indifference required for a mature but still learning humane character. I love the other characters too. Everyone is necessary for the story to move forward and the emotions shown are just that tangible and real. Good work Author-san,keep writing and make the journey more interesting and lovely for us. 5 upon 5 star no drama p.s. And I love Steve Harper as a character, what a baddass!!!

I was just wondering, is it possible to absorb the electrical signals transmitted through the nervous system to lessen the pain by not letting the brain register them? Of course, it will not entirely block the pain since it can't absorb energy that well to begin with, so it will only prevent at most 20% of the pain from being registered by the brain. (I am at chapter 53 so don't know about the talent more.)
Just finished reading chapter 34, and I gotta say, this story is freaking awesome. Love the pacing, the system, and the character interactions feel like real people!!!
Love it, on chapter 338 everythings perfect to me the only quarrel i have is Steve To me he just feels like a nerf, a leech character, His means are good but he just follows the MC around and MC being a good friend finds himself constantly subduing monsters to help Steve level up and then passing opportunities over to him that he earned through his own effort. When the MC is apart from him he levels like crazy because he doesnt have to help his friend keep up. In summary steve is just baggage i wish he’d drop when he leaves for the prime galaxy but somehow i predict he wont be free of him there either Maybe im just more used to solo MCs. I like his other companion North though she seems to actually seek strength through her own adventures. Aside from that the rest of the story is perfect and nice writing
Bro, honestly, I didn't like your synopsis or the title, so I didn't start till now bcz it sounded soo like those idiotic 10000000x power up novels, but as I don't have anything else to do I started this now, and you blew me away just with your first chapter. I know you are good with your writing style, and as I go further down I knew it, you know how to develop characters different and realistic. Though it’s your first book, you are good, bro.
