it's just your common Chinese 'betrayal and face slapping' slop. it's not particularly outstanding but you can read it for the fp or just to pass time.
Faceslap, Faceslap!!!!!! If you are an edgy lord chuunibyou with face slap loving tendencies, this novel is perfect for you!!!! otherwise ..... ugh, just don't read this book seriously 😅😂🤣
Is this called slapping in the face? Didn't he make a mistake about the person who needs to be slapped? I only wanted to say, that title? it actually has a traditional phrase to it. the phrase goes: "The only person stronger than the Warrior? His Wife!" It's an old Norse quote.

Ch:207 Quite an interesting novel. It managed to grab my attention for about the first 160 chapters. after that the chapters became prolonged which is sad. nonetheless readable novel.
One word: Trash The plot is dumb as it can get, the world building make no sense, and the characters are so terrible that it can be used as a proof in a scientific paper to demonstrate the existence of zeroth dimension things. Finding somethig worse is difficult.
Seems like another reprint of a Qidan novel. WN getting better at hiding the original from search. Anyone got an idea? This is a typical reincarnation time reversal storyline (so far through the non-locked chapters), with parts revenge and MC life elevation. Face slapping the girl who cheated him after simping for her in his previous life, using his hard earned skill from previous life to showcase amazing ”talent” after rebirth. Pretty much goes along the “if only…” trope. Author does not do a good job in world setting so far. Hopefully it will improve. Also problems with monetary values for items in a few chapters. Overall, read it if you don’t mind worn out tropes and face slapping. It can help pass the time. It’s no “The Second Coming of Gluttony,” and it doesn’t try to be (because that story is one of the greatest).
This novel is too childish Pretty much the same as any other novels of the same genre
