You are trying to argue he has the kenpachi template because of his "king of normal attacks system" that gave that to the MC a starting perk but I think what Daoist_Dan is trying to convey is that this "template" system isn't relevant to the story and therefore shouldn't even be considered a "template". Normally, for a template system, the more "in character" you perform, the better the connection and stronger you get from resulting rewards. Meanwhile, in this story, the MC is powering up from repetitive grinding (training) rather than acting like a kenpachi should. This whole template system is more of a gimmick to attract readers and be the reason to power up the MC to move the story along. Its like one of those fast food commercial ads, where the food just looks so perfect and amazing but when you actually order it, it looks wimpy and sometimes unappealing. Its practically false advertisement and makes you lose your enthusiasm towards it.

Its not bad, but not great. good enough for passing the time if there is nothing else. yes, and also no. greedy capitalism will always be after it, and if they can't have it, they'll fund a competitor while trying to destroy their initial target that they can't have. Sure, William has patents and all, but these capitalist groups can still find ways to make trouble elsewhere, such as hindering cooperation with computer manufacturers. After all, software needs to be installed in a computer to have value and expand the user base. Sure, there are anti trust laws for this but capitalist groups dont need to win the lawsuit, they just need to drag out the time so their own invested company can create a competitive software and bypass the patent wall.

yeah, I agree that its annoying when you find a story with this overpowered cheat and then the author nerfs it down to give the MC some struggle. I generally find that most system stories often ends one of two ways, the system starts off strong and MC quickly grows OP before being nerfed to the ground or its a system that the author, trying to come up with new ideas to keep a story fresh and entertaining, will either add more elements or give it a twist that deviates from what their system was supposed to be. Once their system story gets to that point, its not far off from being dropped because readers start to leave, or the author runs out of ideas and cannot salvage the story.
