Sorry it just feels like something you would see in an introduction about how some kid didn’t know something about this summer changing his life. this one paragraph of a retrospective view about future events known only by you brings this weird and off-putting tone to the end of your chapter. If you really like this type of foretelling then why not just change who does the foretelling? Whether it could be the system, his saber, or even the old man primordial any of those options would make some sense and keep the tone from shifting into a “Dear Diary,” tone.
