章 14: The Fight

At school, Noah was drawing a paper animation due to boredom, he felt that he had already learned everything he could from school, though he was only talking about the high school level lessons.
He was being boastful but for some reason he could memorize things faster than before, he hypothesized that the Multiversal Company was behind this again, he wasn't sure but he couldn't think of anything else that could have caused this change.
He was scribbling in his notebook from the very start of the first class till the last class before the club activity started.
No one paid any attention to him, excluding Kenichi and Miu that is, they were curious about what he was scribbling in his notebook.
However he didn't let them see yet nor did he start the Live Streaming, he told them he'll show them after he finished this paper Animation he was working on.
He used his thick notebook that had 200 pages, after the last period ended he finally finished his paper Animation.
After class, Kenichi and Miu immediately went towards his table and immediately said.
"You're done right?"
"If you are then show us!"
Noah stared at them for a moment and sighed, he spoke. "You guys are being too excited it's not like this is anything special."
Secretly, he turned on the Live Stream function in YouTube.

After a full minute of waiting, Noah finally started explaining. "I'm not going to say anything unnecessary, I'll just be straight to the point. Today, I'll show a paper animation that I made because of well…. boredom. I hope you guys will like it."
His voice was plain and emotionless, it was not forceful anymore. He didn't want to pretend to be cheerful anymore. Simply because it was tiring.
His viewers didn't complain, they didn't mind it at all because his plain voice was a lot better than his forceful cheerful voice. It felt more… original.
All of his viewers thought that this plain, somewhat emotionless voice suited his appearance.
Noah started to play the paper animation spanning 200 pages. He adjusted the camera to first person POV and enlarged it enough to cover the drawing and make it more clear.
So he started to flip the paper rapidly, at the same time he added an anime soundtrack, yeah, he could actually add soundtracks at will and he realized this feature of the glasses a few days ago when he started tinkering with it a little bit to pass his boredom.
He just needed to think of the soundtrack he wanted to be played and it will be played automatically. It was an extremely useful feature, any and all Live Streamer would be jealous of him and would do anything to get an item like this.
The paper animation started to move, and they could see two figures fighting each other.
And those who were Weebs could instantly recognize the figure from the paper animation.
( Animetard : Isn't that Tanjiro fighting…. Streamer-san wtf? A skinny old man?!! Really?! )
( DeathGod : Seriously?! Wait! Did anyone notice that old man is wearing an oppai T-Shirt?! )
( PandaJoe : That's saitama as an old man! Lol! )
At this moment, Noah's viewers thought that he was too bored to actually make a paper Animation like this!
However it's detailing was actually amazing! If it wasn't for the fact that it doesn't have any color and only ink outlines.
It would have been amazing! Noah even included the Shadows of Tanjiro and Saitama while they were fighting…. Well it was more like a one-sided beatdown.
Saitama was Saitama it didn't matter if he was old or not.
The paper Animation ended and its duration was just 30 seconds, all of Noah's viewers thought 'Why didn't he become an animator instead of becoming a streamer?'
However, considering the content of his Live Stream, all of them understood his reasoning. It was an otherworldly experience after all and it was the only one of its kind.
Most of them believed that sooner or later Noah's Live Stream is bound to become famous and if his proclamations were actually true then it's game would not only be worldwide but much much more.

Miu and Kenichi didn't have much understanding of animation but still they were amazed at Noah's skill in art!
"Noah you're amazing! I didn't think that you were this good at drawing! I'm jealous, I wanna learn how to draw too!"
"Kenichi-san is right! It's not easy to master this skill!"
Hearing their praises he wasn't affected at all, he was as expressionless as ever. Because he knew that it was not his own talent. However he remembered something crucial from their exclamations.
"Hey Kenichi, did you ever think of being a novelist?" He remembered that in the original manga Kenichi's goal was to win a certain prize from making a novel.
He wasn't sure about it as he couldn't remember about the details much but he knew that Kenichi wanted to be a novelist. Kenichi on the other hand was dumbfounded from Noah's question and he thought and spoke.
"I have never thought about my future like that, if I speak truthfully! A novelist huh… it might not be a bad suggestion!" Noah's words caused Kenichi to find a path for his future, a goal or aim in life of sorts. And this realization came much earlier than in the original.
"Oh right, isn't today supposed to be the day that you'll fight your senpai? Wait.. no, that Daimonji isn't a Senpai but a freshman like us, right?"
Kenichi suddenly remembered and exclaimed. "Ah! I almost forgot!"
Suddenly there was a hint of hesitation in his eyes, both Noah and Miu noticed this but only Noah decided to say.
"You don't really have to fight him you know? You could just quit the Karate Club like he said."
Kenichi's hesitation disappeared in an instant as he heard those words coming from Noah. He knew that he was weak, extremely so, but he wasn't a coward! Well…. Maybe….
"No! I'll fight Daimonji today!"
Hearing this Miu smiled happily and Noah nodded as he internally commended his fighting spirit.
In the original Kenichi would beat Daimonji eventually after figuring out the technique that Miu taught him.
But right now with Noah's existence, Kenichi was at least twice as strong as the original, for he had also learned a technique that Akisame was supposed to teach him in the future.
Noah wasn't worried about his match with Daimonji, but the problem was the Karate club president that would soon target Kenichi…
Well he would let that guy beat Kenichi or else he wouldn't realize just how weak he currently was, that moment was the turning point of Kenichi.
Noah would take care of that senpai after, he already at the Low Class Disciple level and someone like Tsukuba couldn't hold a candle against him.

Noah followed Kenichi, since he didn't have any club to join temporarily unlike Miu who didn't have a choice but to go to her club.
Even though she wanted to watch Kenichi's fight, she still had to attend the club.
Right now Kenichi was in the middle of a line preparing to fight Daimonji while Noah was just in the corner trying to be as low-key as possible and spectating the fight.
He was looking at the match with Interest, after all there was a vast difference between animation and reality.
Daimonji was staring at Kenichi's little body with an irritated expression.
"Midget, you got balls to show up! I'm going to kill you!"
Kenichi on the other hand was shivering, while Noah thought 'Daimonji is a Japanese, so why does he act like a certain character from a Xianxia novel?'
Tsukuba spoke. "The rules are simple, the match continues till either one of you surrender or passes out, now let the match begin!"
