章 49: Forty Eight : Proposed

I looked at the diamond ring in my hand with a smile. I'm both nervous and excited. I'm planning to propose to Sora tonight. One day after I introduced Sora to the members, I met Bang PD nim to talk about Sora's pregnancy and my plans to marry her.
I felt really guilty when I said this to Bang PD because I felt like I had betrayed his trust. My guilt got bigger when he said that he was disappointed with me. I remember that during the conversation I kept my head down, feeling very ashamed of what I had done.
But in the end Bang PD said that all decisions regarding my personal life were completely in my hands, and he would still support me. And he asked me to do a wedding at the end of the year considering our busy activities during this year even though these activities were done online and pre-record. We're also planning to make a new album so I really understand that I can't be selfish about this.
Then the next day, I told the members about Sora's pregnancy and my wedding plans when we finished discussing our new album.

2 days before ...
We were gathering at Bighit's office and talking about our plans for a new album. We contribute ideas for almost 30 minutes. The making of this album was never planned before, but due to the current situation that has changed drastically and frustrated many people, we felt that we had to make something so that ARMY and also the people out there could feel better.
"I will send this ideas today to the company. If you want to add something, please send them to me, I will add them too. Good job everyone!", Said Jimin ending our meeting this afternoon
"Good job", said Jk, clapping his hands
V, Jimin and Jk started to get up from the chair.
Should I say it now? I felt a little doubtful. My eyes met Jhope's and he immediately asked me.
"Wae? Wae? What is it?", Asked Jhope curiously
"Nothing", I replied as I got up from the chair
"Spit it out", force Jhope
Suga, Jimin and Jk stood around me waiting for me to say something.
"It's not easy to get all 7 together. Say it!", Said Jhope still looking at me curiously
"Ani aniya ..", I said as I went to the refrigerator to get water
"What is it?", Said Suga with a laugh
"You made me curious now," said Jin as he stood up and put on his jacket
I chuckled as I walked towards the camera and turned it off.
"What's wrong Namjoon~aah, you don't want to say it in front of the camera?", Asked Jin
"Ye ... can you sit down again. I want to say something", I said back to my seat and drank the water I had brought
"Taehyung~aah come on here ..", Jimin called
Instantly I felt my heart beating faster, nervous, felt all eyes on me.
"What's wrong?", Asked Jhope with an intense look
"Hmm, I want to say something. I know this news will be quite surprising for you, but I've discussed this before with Bang PD and the company as well. And ... I want you to hear it directly from me not from other people", I said a little nervous
"Why do I feel nervous ...", said Suga, shaking his head
I laughed at his words before answering, "I want to marry Sora", I said softly as I looked at them all one by one
"What ?!", said Jhope surprised
"Jinjja ??", asked Suga, widened his eyes
"Wow ...", said Jimin and JK simultaneously
"Hyung, really? You're getting married ??", asked V, changing his seat facing me
Whereas Jin said nothing but his face looked very surprised.
"Are you kidding, Namjoon~aah?", Asked Suga laughing
"Ani, I'm not joking. I'm going to marry her. We ... actually we will soon have a baby", I said again, I can feel the heat on my face
"Whoaahh! This is too much, I can't believe this", said Jimin with a happy grin
"Sora ssi is pregnant?", Asked Jin leaning towards me
"Ye ..", I replied
"So yesterday when you introduced her to us, she is pregnant?", Asked Jhope, still surprised
"I don't know if I should be happy or upset to hear this," said Suga, laughing in his chair
"Hyuuuuungg ...." JK teased
"I'm sorry, I didn't know that it would be like this. But, but frankly I don't regret what happened to us. I'm sorry I made you guys disappointed ...", I said lowering my head
"Do you think we will be angry?", Asked Jin, frowning
"Ye ..", I replied quietly, looking at him
"Aniyo ... I'm glad to hear this", replied Jhope smiling broadly
"I'm not angry Namjoon~aah, I'm just annoyed you didn't tell us earlier .. if I had known this earlier, I would have congratulated Sora too", said Suga.
"You're going to be a father? Waaah there will be a baby bangtan", said V, smiling happily with sparkling eyes
"Namjoon hyung, we will always support you ... I'm happy when you're happy", said Jimin smiling at me
"Gomawo ... I, I did not think you would be happy to hear this news", I replied while adjusting my glasses
"Then how does the company respond? You will stay with us, right?", Asked Jk
"They are a little disappointed with this, but they still accept my decision, but on the condition that I have to postpone my wedding until the end of this year. They leave the decision to me whether I will publish this marriage or not. Of course I will listen to all your advices .... I really appreciate you as friends and colleagues, you are like family to me ", I said to them all
"You're not going to leave BTS, right hyung?", Asked V
"Ani, I never had any intention of going to leave you guys ... even though maybe later after I get married I can't live with you anymore. But, I just bought an apartment nearby, in Hannam Hill too, so at least we'll stay close together" , I replied smiling at V who nodded his head at my words
"When are you going to get married?", Asked Jin
"Actually, I haven't discussed this with Sora. She said she would follow my decision and the company. We also haven't had a family meeting yet", I replied again
"But you already proposed, right?", Asked Suga leaning forward
"Mmm ... I just asked her to marry me, but if what you're talking about is a ring proposal and a romantic atmosphere, uh, I haven't done it yet", I said awkwardly, scratching the back of my head
"Gosh hyung, really? Jinjja?", Asked Jimin in disbelief
"Tsk, tsk .... you have to propose to her the right way Namjoon~aah ... it will prove your sincerity to her", said Suga
"I don't think he's ever seen a romance drama film," said Jin to Suga while laughing
"Haha, well I really plan to do it soon", I chuckled embarrassedly
"Woah daebak ya! I can't wait to see you get married", said JK, smiling broadly at me
"Everything will be fine ... we will always support you", said Jin assured me
"Ye ... gomawo yorobun", I said. "Okay ... that's all I want to say ... ", I said as I stood up and put my hands into my jacket pocket
"Hyuung, congrats", said V hugging me happily
"Gomawo", I replied, patting his back
One by one the members took turns hugging and congratulating me. We laughed and talked about what my baby would be like. I feel so relieved and happy, I didn't expect them to support my decision.

I put the ring box back into my pants pocket and pressed Sora's phone number.
"Yeobosseyo jagiya~ ... are you done? I'm on my way to your apartment", I said with a happy smile
"You've finished shooting? I'll be home in 10 minutes, I'm still tidying up my room", she replied
"Arasso ... I can't wait to meet you, I have something to say. Okay, see you later .." I said with a smile
"Uh? Alright .. see you later", replied Sora and turned off the phone
I just finished filming the BTS Festa at a house in the Gangnam Gu area. These days we have been very busy doing photo-shoots and choreography practice for our online concert next month. Therefore, when I have free time I decide to do it now, because tomorrow until next month our schedule will be very busy.
I smoothed my hair with my fingers, a few days ago I cut my hair and dyed it back to brown color. I hope Sora likes it, I thought. I want to make a special night for both of us, even though to be honest I'm not the romantic type.
"Kamsahamnida ... you don't have to wait for me. I'll be back tomorrow", I said to my driver before getting out of the car
I straightened my clothes and adjusted my mask before walking into the lobby. I pressed the elevator button while typing a message to Sora.
"I've arrived," I sent the message, then got into the elevator and pressed the five button

"I'm sorry, I just finished. I'm going home now", she replied
I walked down the hallway to the fifth floor, and leaned against the window opposite the elevator. I walked back and forth while memorizing the words I would say to propose to her.

I reached into my pants pocket and saw Sora's name on my cellphone screen.
"Yeobosseyo", I replied
"Yeobosseyo jagiya, I'm sorry .. there are some items left. I'm turning around to get them," said Sora, speaking quickly
"Something left? Arasso", I said, looking out the window
"Ye ... are you sure you're okay?", she asked again
"Ne. I'm okay. I'll wait here", I replied again
"Ye .. okay .. I'll be back as soon as possible ... mianhae", she said then hung up the phone
I turned off my cellphone and realized that my cellphone battery was running low. I cursed and leaned back against the window looking at the lights of the buildings around her apartment.
10 minutes passed, I typed a message to Sora.
"Jagiya~ ... I'm waiting for you at the door of your apartment. Have you finished taking the items you left behind?", I asked
I took and opened the ring box and looked at it again. I played the ring box in my hand. I see it's been five minutes since I texted her.
I dialed Sora's number and called her. No answer. I frowned, confused, why didn't she answer my phone ?.
I tried to call her again, but still no answer. I took a deep breath, busy wondering why she didn't answer my phone. Sora always answers calls from me wherever she is.
I decided to go wait for her in the lobby. When I got to the lobby, I sat in the waiting room and tried to call her again. Why am I feeling anxious?. My heart is beating fast. Why do I suddenly feel worried about her.
"Jagiya~ where are you? Are you still in Minerva?", I wrote
I ruffled my hair while waiting for a reply or a call from her. But after five minutes not a single message or call had arrived. I stared at the entrance to the apartment and clenched my jaw.
The distance from Minerva to this place is only 10 minutes. But why didn't she arrive? Did something happen?. Without realizing it, I started moving my legs because I was worried.
I then walked back and forth in front of the entrance. "Where is she?", I thought
I tried to call her again 3 times but none of them answered. I'm really worried. I looked at my cell phone screen and thought that something had happened to her. She was never like this.
Then I took a deep breath and walked out of the lobby towards Minerva. I know the way, it only takes 15 minutes on foot. I speed up my pace when I arrived at the intersection. While walking I kept contacting Sora. When there was no answer from her, I went faster than before. Until without realizing it I have been running since a few minutes ago.
"You'll be there Soon, you can do it", I said encouraging myself
"Just turn left in front, and you will arrive soon", I said again breathless
When I finally arrived at Minerva, I bent out of breath, a little relieved when I saw Sora's car parked in Minerva's parking lot.
When my breathing returned to normal, I took off my mask and walked towards the ground floor door. Somehow my heart is still beating so fast, I feel that something wrong is happening.
"Jagiya~ ....", called me when I opened the ground floor door

There was a sound of collision and then a scream. I ran towards Sora's office is located. When I opened the door to her office, I was surprised at the situation I had found.
I saw someone with a black hoodie choke Sora until her body pushed against the bookshelf. Sora's hands struggled trying to get the perpetrator's hand off her neck.
"Jagiya!", I shouted from the doorway
The culprit turned her head at me, her eyes wild like a madman, her mouth grinning with hatred. I hardly recognize her with a face like that.
"YOU ?!", I said wide-eyed
I don't understand ... what did she do to Sora? I can feel my brain thinking quickly analyzing what's going on. Black hoodie ... and all those incidents mostly happened in Minerva! Is she the culprit ?? Impossible!!
