It’s nice to see an mc that doesn’t solely fight on the front lines using a sword or a spear, instead this mc can buff people. Also, cat facts, what else needs to be said, go read it!
When I read this, I got the same vibe as "The Elementalist". But I don't mean the plot is the same. It's totally different. What gives the same vibes is the mc; an ordinary man with a hidden extraordinariness. I really loves this type of mc. Here's the raw title. 网游之光环圣骑 Though I won't recommend reading it raw now since it's a new book.
This Novel is quite good and interesting. Among recent Trial this is one of best. I hope this get pick..it is worth your time and money. Most Important this Novel have cats.. and that Cat is Halo
The writing is solid. Good grammar and almost no typos. However, there are few problems I have with the story. First of all, the protagonist himself. He's, for a lack of a better word, boring. He doesn't have a solid goal; he's just drifting. He does want to earn money, but he's not super motivated to do that either. He already has as stable job as a salaryman, so he doesn't need to earn money in-game. There isn't even a major plot line as far as I can tell. So the story is not character driven nor plot driven. It feels more a slice-of-life, but there is no feel-good or enjoying-life moment. He's just grinding. Maybe it will change later and I need to read on, but it's really difficult to stay invested if the protagonist himself is not invested in what he's doing. There's nothing to root for, no overarching mission or goal. This type of story isn't bad, but not my taste. Maybe it will fit better for readers who enjoy a loose storyline, and with emphasis on completing small missions rather than big quests. Secondly, the focus seems a bit off? The title and the synopsis makes it seem like the story will focus on his development as a Halo Paladin. However, the focus is on fishing and cooking. The first few battles are skimmed, and a boss battle comes around ch 15. Everything else is just him fishing and cooking.

Great chill novel, tired of overpowered and arrogant face slapping mc and novels, just a normal guy living off with some luck, maybe later on we'll be able to see some growing about his talent and skills. Give it a opportunity. if anyone got the raw link or name fking tell me plox
Not worth reading, the MC spends more time fishing than anything else and as of chapter twenty we have no clue what his talent does. 2.8 stars.
Well, it seem like this story is not picked. tath susck, it would have been nice to have a game story where the main character isn't some super powerful DPS or tank.

I don't think this is a slice of life, nor do I think it's any kind of power fantasy story. It just feels good to read; it's amusing at times, cats are present, it's very tranquil, and it feels nice to just read about a normal, average existence, especially considering what's going on around the world right now. It feels less like a story and more like a detached view on a completely normal and average world. I love Nocturne already, though what seems to be the FL seems kind of tropish to me. The story is slow, calm and completely normal; there is no conflict, little drive and ambition and makes me feel like I'm just popping into a world to admire the scenery. It's a great story, and I sincerely hope it gets picked up because I think I could use some normalcy in my life right now.

You know all of those hotblooded vrmmo novels that feature a hardcore protagonist that devotedly pursues the rankings? This is the slice of life version of those. The MC is pretty much just an ordinary guy doing ordinary mmo things from a noob's perspective. He joins a guild, runs dungeons with random guildies, and enjoys leveling his fishing at every opportunity. It's really kind of awesome.
I've read the translated raws, although currently there's only 129, it's pretty good!
A really enjoyable read! Hope it gets picked! I thought this was going to be another generic rehash of the genre, but I was pleasantly surprised that it actually leaned more towards the lifestyle aspect while still keeping some combat in it. It does a great job at making the side of gaming that isn't usually focused on interesting and entertaining, while also keeping it simple and easy to follow.
Overall it looks to be a WoW clone with a some different take on things such as no Horde vs Alliance but same classes and a majority of the vanilla races. It doesn't really detract from the story the game elements are solid, it is overall a decent read. I am not really engaged with the moments when he is out of game it mainly just revolves around his cat and minor life things. The character has been really fleshed out despite 30 chapters, I would like to see some character depth as at the moment he doesn't have any real defining traits. Honestly not sure what the author is building this story it reads a bit like a slice of life as the power ramping of some VR novels isn't really here that much. I guess that is probably the direction the story is going since the premise of his character is halos/buffs so he is relatively passive.
