章 10: Chapter 09: Intellect

"That's it for today. I have another piece of news for you." Sae said as she closed the book in her hand.

"After school today, anyone interested to join a club can go to the gymnasium where the clubs will be recruiting new members. Though it's up to you whether you want to join the club or not, I advise you to join a club." Sae said as she walked out of the classroom.

"Are you going to the gymnasium Akiyama-Kun?" Kikyo asked Hikaru who was leaving the classroom.

"Ah yes, I am curious about the club's in this school." Hikaru replied as he looked at Kikyo.

"In that case, can I come with you? The other's aren't interested in clubs you see and it's quite lonely to go there by myself."

"Of course." Hikaru said as he walked out of the classroom accompanied by Kikyo.

"Which club are you planning to join Akiyama-Kun?"

"I don't have a specific one in mind, probably something creative?"

"Eh? I thought you would have joined the Lawn Tennis club. You said that you were quite proficient in it, didn't you?"

"Well, I just didn't want to concentrate on that while I am here in this Highschool. Something related to studies or a specific subject would be better for me, this Highschool isn't exactly known for its Sports Clubs after all."

"Un! I understand, I want to join a club like that too now hehe."

"Good for you."

"I didn't want to join any clubs anyway, I was just curious about them. But now I guess I'll just follow you."

"You don't need to do that, my decisions aren't accurate after all."

"It's okay. I trust you and it's not like it's anything serious. I can just quit the club if I don't like it." Kikyo said while slightly staring at Hikaru.

"If that's what you want." Hikaru said as the duo continued walking towards the gymnasium.

"Wow! Those stalls look so adorable!" Kikyo said as she entered the gymnasium followed by Hikaru.

"Though why is this place so deserted?" Kikyo said as she looked at Hikaru.

"The clubs are only recruiting First years and there are only 100 first years in total. So, this isn't really surprising especially since some students don't even care about the clubs."

"Oh! I didn't realize that. So which one will you choose Akiyama-Kun?"

"Nothing caught my attention yet. I'll just look through the stalls, lest I find something."

"Un! I'll come along with you!"

"The basketball club looks promising. Too bad I can't really play basketball that well, though there isn't any club related to research I guess." Hikaru said as he looked at one of the member's of the basketball club who was flexing his muscles.

"Ugh, let's look at the other clubs." Kikyo said as she covered her eyes with her small hands, not wanting to look at a weird bald guy flexing his muscles.

"Sure."

"What about the Shogi Club? That's the only club I found that isn't related to sports except for the Tea Ceremony Club."

"I can't say that it isn't good, but well, I am not that interested in it."

"Then what are you going to do?" Kikyo asked Hikaru curiously.

"Well, if the club I am looking for doesn't exist, I can just create it." Hikaru said while smiling a little, creating a club has its own benefits after all.

"Oh? I am curious! Tell me about it, please!" Kikyo said as she looked at Hikaru with her adorable eyes.

"It's nothing special, you only need to fill out a form and get it approved by the Student Council." Hikaru plainly stated.

"You make it sound quite easy. What kind of club are you going to create anyway?"

"A club related to Intellect most probably."

"Sounds interesting! Please invite me if you really create it! There isn't any other club suitable for me anyway."

"Sure. Anyway, we should get back now." Hikaru said as he walked out of the gymnasium.

"Un!" Kiyo said as she exited the gymnasium alongside Hikaru.

"Ah! It's already 6:45! I am sorry Akiyama-Kun, but I'll have to go now! I promised Sato-san that I'll treat her tonight! See you later!" Kikyo said as she bowed a little before running towards the dorms.

"You can come out now." Hikaru said as he looked at Kikyo's silhouette in the distance.

"Hoh? How did you know I was here?" A boy with Magenta-Hair said as he looked at Hikaru. He was accompanied by another boy who had a very large and muscular frame.

"That doesn't matter. Why were you following me though? I don't think I know you."

"That's a boring question and I am not in the mood to answer you, why don't you hear me out in the meantime?" The boy said as he looked at Hikaru, who just stared at the boy quietly.

"You should know how it is, or maybe you don't. Anyway, 70,000 points. I'll give you 70,000 points if you complete some simple tasks for me. How about it?" The boy said while smiling.

"Playing the silent game it seems, anyway if you do some simple tasks for me ever so often and follow my orders, I'll give you 70,000 points every month. Doesn't sound too bad right?" The boy said Hikaru remained silent.

"Tch! You are pissing me off now. I guess you will need to be disciplined." The Magenta-Haired boy said as the other boy alongside him cracked his knuckles.

"Why do you think I'll work for you? And aren't you worried about the CCTV camera's present here?" Hikaru asked the boy, faking confusion.

"You don't have to worry about that and as for the CCTV's, there aren't any present here you idiot."

'Well, this is getting interesting.'

"But since you have pissed me off, I can't just let you off now right?" The magenta-haired boy said as the other boy punched Hikaru on his chest.

"Well, give him a few more punches. Punch him in the face, his face irks me for some reason." The boy said as he sat down on the bench.

The MC won't be a beta. Trust me on this one, sometimes you need to use your brains too instead of just going ka me ha me ha. So wait for the next chapter. It's gonna get interesting and if you think, it's unacceptable for the MC to be punched..well Idk what to say. Just know that the MC is merciless, he is the heir after all.
