Without hesitation he lunged forward, attempting to push the bandit leader away and save Qie Xieling but the bandit twice his size proved to be an unyielding adversary. He laughed cruelly, overpowering Luo Muchen with ease. In a swift motion, the bandit leader wrapped his powerful arm around Luo Muchen's neck, subjecting him to a suffocating chokehold. Luo Muchen struggled but he was forced to watch as the bandit leader's twin sniffed Qie Xieling. 

A wave of revulsion washed over Qie Xieling as the bandit's tongue slithered across his trembling neck. Goosebumps erupted over his body, and bile rose in his throat. With a surge of desperate determination, Qie Xieling's hand felt around his clothes and grabbed the cold, steel grip of a dagger strapped to his thigh.
