章 27: I'm No Gymnast

Maya was excited about trying the foam pit out. The first thing she did instead of plain jumping in was executing a dive because it looked so appealing.

The problem with that was not realizing how much of a black hole foam pits were. She was completely enveloped in foam cubes because of how deep she went by diving and genuinely struggled to get out.

"Maya?" Vincent asked a bit worriedly when she still hadn't emerged after more than a minute.

"I think I'm stuck," she called back in a muffled voice she wasn't sure he would be able to hear. "Hang on."

After another minute of struggling, she managed to poke her head out from the top of the foam. Once she had that taken care of, it was still difficult to get out but less so than before. She realized that getting on top of the foam as much as possible made escaping easier.
