章 125: You Told Him About Me?!

Bryce was beginning to get sick of his job. Scratch that, he already was sick of his job. Constantly traveling hadn't accomplished his goal of finding a place (and more specifically a person) worth settling down for and he was tired of being rootless. He had been doing this for way too long. 

He was in his mid-thirties; pretty much everyone else he knew had a home and family but he didn't even have a fish because there would be no one to feed it when he was away for a month at a time. It was pathetic, really. 

So when the opportunity came to travel back to Peter's firm in Gainesville, he jumped on it. Maybe his friend could help him figure out what to do next. 

They may not have seen each other in person since that anime convention four years ago but they had stayed in sporadic contact over text. Their schedules had never matched up to meet any other time, though he had been invited to attend Peter's wedding in December and was already planning on going.
