Turning to face her mother, she said, "I would have loved to stay for a little while more, but I can't."

Being understanding of her situation, Song Jujing suggested, "At least eat before you leave. You need a lot of glucose for brain work and strength till the party time."

Before going over to the breakfast table, Zhang Liling packed her outfit and work materials and booked a ride that would arrive by the time she had finished eating.

On her way to Glint, Mr. Fang phoned to know how things were going only to find out that she was already on her way to her company.

"Did you even get some rest?" He inquired, tired of her restlessness.
