Gun had been assigned with the sole purpose of delaying Yuji's allies as much as possible, so that Charles could have an uninterrupted conversation.

"What?" Raian laughed at his target's reaction, his fingers snapping as he tightened them in anticipation of combat. "Have I scared you enough? What are you? A little girl?"
"You look strong..." Ignoring Kure's words, Gun declared with a serious look, his fingers clenching into fists as he let his smile widen even further, something that made even Raian raise an eyebrow in surprise. "It'll be enough to entertain me!"
With a vein popping out on his forehead, Raian returned his own animalistic grin, his aura exploding wildly as his muscles stiffened so that they became even more apparent on his body. "You worm! You think too much of yourself, don't you?"
Stepping forward, Raian didn't even bother to set up a stance, while Gun immediately took his usual karate stance.
"Let's see if you can keep up that confidence when I break you in half!"

In all honesty, Goo still didn't fully understand why he had accepted this job.
All he wanted more than anything was to see Charles Choi fall after so long, so it was rather hypocritical of him to agree to ally himself with him after all.
But...
150 million Yen was not a sum he could refuse so easily.
"Tsk."
Sighing, he kept a firm grip on the hilt of his sword, his gaze narrowing when he noticed movement in the distance.
"Looks like they've arrived."

Still, connections or not, Yuji Shinakawa alone was a power to be feared. Even now, Goo had no confidence in taking him on.
Of course, that would change if he could team up with Gun and James. With the two of them, he believed they might have a chance, but unfortunately, that wasn't a possible scenario at the moment.
If everything went as Charles planned, James would hold Yuji off long enough for Goo and Gun to catch up with them.

Opening his eyes wide when a voice came from behind him, Goo immediately drew his sword as he turned to see a figure emerging from the trees.
'I didn't even notice him approaching!' Feeling sweat collecting on his forehead, Goo gave a nervous little smile. 'Who's that face?'
"It's been a while since I've faced a swordsman."
With the figure standing in front of an alert Goo, the blond immediately noticed his dark eyes similar to Gun's.
"It'll be great practice."
Hollis smiled with his lips, which caused Goo to frown in annoyance.
