Adrienne remained silent and chose to look at the young boy sleeping on her lap. Noah had a slight smile on his face as if he was content with where he was. This was their first meeting, but the boy had already taken a liking to her.

Noah kept reminding her of Dylan. That young boy was raised by her, so how could Adrienne not miss him, especially at times like this?

"I understand what you mean, Miss Qiu, and this is precisely why Lennox and I considered offering you to stay with Noah." She answered Beatrice honestly. "Just because you and Noah aren't blood related to each, doesn't mean your concern for him is any less."

"Y-you're allowing me to stay with Noah?" Beatrice had initially thought that they intended to take Noah away from her, considering Lennox would have his custody.

"Why not?" Adrienne raised a slender brow. "You're the one who raised Noah after all and we can't just take him away from you."
