章 168: Wedding invitations

The youngest princess of the Blackthorn family refrained from joining the rest of her family in welcoming the king and his future wife-to-be. She was irritated by the way things had unravelled since Maxwell's death. Even though she wanted to voice her thoughts, she now found herself unable to do so. 

Not because she lacked the capability, but rather because she didn't want a repeat of the incident that had befallen her hand previously.

"Princess Niyasa." One of her maids appeared before her, offering her a respectful bow. "Lady Anastasia has arrived with King Dante and her family."

"Great," Niyasa muttered under her breath. "As if one wasn't enough, now I have to sit with others like her at the table. Leave me; I need some time to think."
