章 14: Chapter 14: Flirting with the Devil
There is an untold perk of being a gamer.
You dont really have to worry about carbs, calories, and other junk. You can just eat whatever you want without care and as long as the system deems it satiating it won't give you the starving status and you won't even gain weight!
And I may or may not have accidentally spent 3 hours straight just cooking Pancake. But thanks to cooking a good recipe until I ran out of ingredients I managed to raise cooking to 20 from 13.
Hell, my pancakes even give stat bonuses too!

This is most likely without exaggeration the most powerful pancake on earth.
Was this worth sacrificing a good night's sleep? Of course it was are you out of your goddam mind? Instead, I made coffee with a minor stamina recovery potion to get through the day. It tastes like mint-flavored coffee.
In other words completely disgusting.
This morning I couldn't be bothered to fix up my uniform so after throwing on my shades I went to school, the front of my uniform open to reveal the white shirt underneath. As I made my way over to class I could feel some gazes on me. I do not know what deal Rias and Sona made about me neither do I feel like going out of my way to find out.
Sitting down on my desk I laid my head down and passed out for over 2 hours.
All the while unaware of the competition between the two devils over me.

"Hey~ Gojo-kun, could you come with me for a second?" Whoever that woke me up better have a good reason because I was having a very fond round of voluntary unconsciousness.
Lifting my head off the desk I saw Akeno meaning over me with a smug(?) seductive(?) smile on her face.
"Hey Akira-kun, Rias invited you to the club room. Could you... come~ with~ me~?" She said with a sultry smile on her face. But I chose to ignore the innuendo, give the less oneesan an inch and she'll take a mile. I am not an easy target to tease if you ignore my flaw.
"...Fine, lead the way.." I said as I pried myself off of the desk.

While Akeno was taking me there I noticed her swaying her hips intentionally, giving me flashes of her black lace panties occasionally but just enough to tease me.
Have I mentioned that I like having sunglasses?
Though I really wonder what Rias is calling me for this time. I would like to say I am a busy man but really? I just sleep around in class and I'm sure anything would be better than that. Before long Akeno led me to the Occult Research Clubroom.
Inside I saw Rias sitting on the desk with her short skirt leaving most of her long legs bare. I approve, though my frustration is immense with my flaw. But without restraint, I would just be Issei. I sat down on the sofa in front of her I greeted her with a smile.
"Good afternoon Rias, why have you called me here?"
"No particular reason, I just wanted to invite you over for tea and chat a bit. Maybe get to know each other a bit better." On the last part, she briefly uncrossed her legs to give me a small hint of her red lace nearly transparent panties.
'Man, I really need to get laid sooner or later. Or else this flaw will really cause me to lose my goddam composure.'
Honestly speaking. I have never had sex. Nor have I ever kissed someone. Or even romantically involved with anyone.
This wasn't because I wasn't interested in the opposite gender.
I just saw them as a luxury I couldn't afford. But now I had the choice to indulge as relationships themselves gave me rewards. After a bit, Akeno came back with tea and put it down in front of me and Rias before moving behind her.
I picked up and tasted the tea which tasted rather nice, I should ask her about the kind of tea she uses next time. They would go well with my pancakes.
"I'm curious, Akira, why do you wear sunglasses indoors?" Rias asked me seemingly annoyed that she couldn't know if her teasings worked or not.
Honestly, I was fed up with my eyes too. It was like these little bastards had the drawbacks of six eyes but barely any of the benefits. At least they provide me night vision and allow me to see through blindfolds and sunglasses I guess. But a far cry from the actual six eyes.
"I have incredibly sensitive eyes so I have to use sunglasses indoors. Now, I have a question of my own though. Why have you really called me here?"
"Eh?"
"I doubt the heiress of a noble family has that much time to spare no?" Hearing my words, an embarrassed blush the same shade as her hair covered most of her face as she looked away trying to think of something to say while Akeno gave her a look saying 'He got you there'.
"I dont really have an ulterior motive here, I just wanted to know you better."
And that's a bite.
"Well, I'm flattered, in that case, how about this? Do you know about the 3 questions game?"
"3 Questions game?"
"It's a game where you can ask each other 3 questions each. You have to answer truthfully to whatever they ask you but you are also allowed to abstain from answering one. So, I believe that would be quite a fun way to get to know each other dont you think?"

"Alright! Let's play then." Rias nodded excitedly, how eager.
Now, why would I give her the opportunity to pry into my secrets someone may ask? Well, I have several good reasons.
1st: Getting affection from Rias and Akeno. If I keep giving them the cold shoulder I won't make progress with them. Even I deserve some fun sometimes. Plus I kinda fancy them enough to pursue them.
2nd: This is the more important one. Raising my value. I picked this because I am already mostly aware of what she would ask of me. And by teasing her with my capabilities and potential I will gain more favor with her. And having the favour of the sister of one of the strongest beings in existence is good as it provides me with a layer of political protection I otherwise lack.
But more importantly, it will make her more desperate. I may not be interested in becoming a devil much but that is only because it doesn't benefit me enough. Without Issei, she will be more and more desperate as the clock ticks by.
As she gets more desperate her offers will become better. They will become more and more beneficial to me. And maybe, just maybe she will make me an offer worth me turning into a devil.
And lastly: With this, I will be able to get information from rhis exchange that will justify some of my meta-knowledge.
As the gentleman I was, I let her go first.
"Okay. Akira did you encounter a stray devil yesterday?"
Bullseye. Two more questions I predict and I will reward myself with a chocolate and banana crepe.
"If you are talking about that chimeric monstrosity then yes. Though they were rather... disappointing. Do not worry I got rid of them." As I said that Rias and Akeno's eyes widened in surprise.

"Oh my~ how brave Akira-kun. Being able to handle strays yourself without help." Said Akeno with a sultry smirk obviously trying to get a reaction out of me that I wouldn't give her.
"Thank you for the compliment. Now for my question. Why are you so insistent on recruiting me? I feel like there are some details you omitting."
Hearing my words Rias sighed.
"Yes, indeed. The reason I want you to join my peerage is because I have an arranged marriage coming up that I do not want. And I would like your help in case I have to challenge Riser to a rating game. Besides all that, I find you very interesting. As for my question, Akira do you have a sacred gear?"
An honest admission huh? Surprising. Also second bullseye. Getting closer to that choco banana crepe Akira.
"Interesting, well, I will pass on this one." As I said this Rias' eyes widened once again before she regained her composure. Now what do I ask her? I guess this will do.
"What's your greatest fear?"
"No." Hearing her quick response to my question I raised an eyebrow as she grew redder in embarrassment. I dont really remember but is her greatest fear really that important or something?
After a few moments, Rias glanced back and forth with Akeno for a few moments before turning to me.
"Here is my last question. Akira-kun, do you find us... attractive?" She said with a sultry smile as she uncrossed her legs before crossing them once more.
Hearing her words my mind took a good minute to catch up before I could formulate a response. Goodbye, crepes. But still, I guess I could use the opportunity to unwind a bit and put my (non-existent) flirting skills to use
"Hmm, I don't know, but I am open to being convinced." As I said this Rias' smile got more confident as she got down from her desk alongside Akeno as she got in front of me before putting her knee next to my leg with her other leg in between mine in front of the couch.

She leaned in and put her arms next to my head on top of the sofa, putting barely any distance between me and her bountiful breasts. At this point, I was growing visibly hard. She smirked and undid a few buttons on her uniform giving me a good view of her red lacy bra.
"Well is this convincing enough?" She said as she pushed closer and closer to me giving me a good whiff of her strawberry perfume.
"Well, I think I-" Just as I was speaking I heard the door open. hearing it too Rias froze as well. Turning my head I saw a wild Koneko staring at both of us with narrowed eyes.
"...Ecchi."

"*Grumble* *Grumble* Fucking cucking cat."
That damn cat stopped that from escalating further. Obviously, the mood had been killed and I left shortly afterward. I really needed to bump up my luck stat so that this shit stops happening.
As I was kicking some pebbles off of the bridge after leaving school I saw a girl running toward me that looked awfully familiar but I couldn't exactly place how. She was quite cute with pink purple eyes and long black hair. She wore a school uniform that I couldn't be bothered to recognize. Before I said anything she spoke first.
"U-um you are Gojo Akira-kun from Kuoh Academy aren't you?"
And now it clicked.
It was this bitch.
