章 23: Chapter Twenty-three

Henry's POV

The bell rang for recess, and I headed for the cafeteria. I expected to see Blair, Arian, and Patrick sitting together. It wasn't the first time they had a fight, and they usually resolved it quickly. But seeing Patrick and Arian arguing and Blair leaving the table was not what I anticipated.

"Blair?! Hold on," I called after her, quickening my pace to catch up.

"What do you want?" She sounded stressed, but I knew better than to point it out.

"Umm... I... need help with chemistry," I scrambled for an excuse, but it was the only thing that came to mind.

"Really? You're a straight-A student with a CGPA of 5.0. You'll have to do better than that to get me to talk to you." She wasn't wrong.

"Well, I'm having trouble with titration," I lamely explained.

"I can get you a student tutor. You'll start tomorrow." She stated and walked away. I followed her.

She headed for the library, and just as she walked through the double doors, someone pulled me from behind.
