章 9: Unreasonable Young Master
I was briefed on the things I already knew about by my mother. Once she had finished saying the stuff, I showered, dressed up, had breakfast, and then left for the main island where the awakening ceremony was going to take place.
There were some of my cousins, the same age as me, travelling together to the main hall and unlike last time, they had their gazes lowered and didn't even try to pick a fight with me.
I had whooped their ass quite a bit in the last few years and scared them to not get a lot of trouble in the awakening ceremony.
The main island was beautiful with lush green forests. The hue wasn't as rich green as my hair though, so I stood out from it and didn't blend in.
We were guided to the main hall by servants and as we neared, I could see many people banding together and walking, as if it was a group project or something.
I ignored them all and eventually reached the main hall without a hitch.
I sat on a chair, present at the corner and tried to keep my distance from the bunch of fools present here.
I had a lot of things to take into consideration and was busy. No time to flex my status to these little runts.
It had not even been ten minutes since I kept to myself when some random red-haired approached me and said, "Cousin Leon—"
"Get lost," I said in a neutral tone, cutting off this guy. I was busy and in no mood to play with him.
The guy, being shunned away so rudely, forced a smile and replied, "At least listen—"
SLAM!
I kicked the table in front of me from below, slamming it right into the guy's face and having him fly away.
Hitting each other was against the rules, but certain things could be justified easily like this one.
"Y-y-you! How dare you!" Some friend of that guy said in his stead. "Elders! Elders! Come look at this!"
Sigh, these bastards never learn and keep their distance from the people who want to be left alone.
I had green hair, an indication that I didn't have a pure bloodline and they definitely were thinking along the lines: 'Let's bully him!' 'Let's show him what pure bloods are!' 'Elders won't give us trouble for a bastard like him!'
That's the sanest thing I could comprehend from their retarded brains. It could be much worse for all I know.
The elders arrived at the scene shortly after and tried to understand what was going on here. Eventually, without much thinking, they came to a consensus that the fault definitely wasn't with any of the red heads.
"You! What did you do?" A middle-aged elder approached me and asked.
With my demeanor still calm, I said, "this young master was minding his own business but got disturbed by some fools."
The elders frowned at this reply. What I said was disrespectful as well as rude.
A burly elder walked up to me and putting his hand on my shoulders, said, "apologize to young master Viren and we'll pretend nothing happened."
I looked at the guy, dead in the eyes, with a gaze that said: 'are you for real?'
The man didn't respond and I simply sighed.
I walked up to the beaten up dude and said, "this young master apologizes."
At this moment, I wanted anything but conflict. It was a busy time for me so I didn't mind doing such things.
The elders nodded their heads at my apology but then, the beaten up guy thought I was getting intimidated by the elders, hence said, spitting blood at the side,
"Growl at my feet and beg for mercy, only then will I think of forgiving you."
Sigh…
I was tired of these people. This wasn't the first time such an incident had happened. It had been the same in the past life and during my time staying with my cousins.
I turned to the burly elder who asked me to apologize and said, "you'll let the matter go now, yes?"
The elder nodded. He had seen what had transpired before and wasn't irrational like the other guys.
Finally, some guy with some common sense.
I simply took my leave without saying anything further and went to my seat.
Viren was fuming at this and yelled, "that guy didn't apologize to me! I need an apology! Elders! Is this what is justice!?"
The elders ignored the guy as if he was a piece of trash and went about their ways. That was expected.
Viren wasn't someone special… at least as of now.
Viren was the son of my third uncle's fifth wife. That wife of his had failed to produce good heirs as of now. They predicted that Viren would be trash too like his siblings so didn't give much attention to him.
As for me, my status in the family was lower than this guy, but nobody tried to mess with me much for the sake of my mother. She was the main wife of the second strongest guy in the family, and also was the second eldest son of the Patriarch.
The Patriarch had three sons and one daughter. All his children were formidable and since he was powerful too, he was made the head of the family.
The Patriarch, my grandfather, had six brothers and four sisters, and so, the family was big. Not as big as those with blue hair though.
Before the destruction of the family, Viren had become so mighty that he was the Patriarch candidate. His status was way beyond mine and I was so beneath that he didn't even look at me then.
This guy was trouble and I already made an enemy out of him. He for sure would come to bite my ass, but it was okay. I had plans for all the pests anyway.
Going back to my seat, I kept to myself once again and waited.
For the ceremony and a certain someone to appear.
An hour passed.
I had my eyes closed and was resting when I heard some commotion.
"Young miss Yu, how have you been?"
"Young miss Yu, I've heard a lot about you."
I opened my eyes after hearing that and looked at the guys flocking around a young and tall redhead.
This girl was in a hanfu and looked stunning. It was no wonder why these guys were drooling at her beauty.
I walked up to this girl like those guys as well and she noticed me coming closer.
I looked quite handsome and also had toned muscles plus long green hair, standing out from the whole crowd of redheads.
The girl was naturally able to take notice, but showed a slight disgust at me. That was expected, I wasn't a pure blood after all.
As I reached her, this girl was about to lash out on me, but then I said, "this young master likes this one. I'll be taking you."
The whole crowd fell silent hearing my comment and Yu's face turned red in anger.
How dare I, a filth in the Ignis family, say such a thing? Was what she might be thinking and getting worked up.
"How dare—"
"Elders!" I shouted out before she could say anything.
Yu was quite the hot commodity of the Ignis family as she was the beloved daughter of the first son of the Patriarch.
The elders naturally came quickly.
"Elders—"
"Elders, I fancy this person. "
I cut off Yu and said to the burly elder who had asked me to apologize earlier.
The elder knitted his brows and said, "are you out of your mind?"
I looked at him as if I was looking at a fool. "What's wrong? Can't I have a servant for myself? What's wrong in having this…"
I walked past Yu and flung my arms around a brown-haired guy with smooth skin and a slight feminine face.
"…this guy as my servant?"
The crowd fell silent again while Yu and the elder both were shocked.
Yu's face turned red once again, matching her hair, but this was due to embarrassment as she thought I was talking about her.
I didn't let this chance go and said, "Why are you all looking at me like that? Did you think I was talking about young Miss Yu? No, don't worry. Young Miss Yu isn't up to my delicate tastes. She's about as average as one could get. I like this guy more than her. Actually, you know…"
I turned around and holding the guy's face, kissed him right away, making everyone's jaws drop and eyes to pop out.
'WHAT IN THE FUCK WAS I DOING!?!' Was probably the thoughts of these guys.
As for me, I was enjoying the tender lips of this shocked butler in front of me.
This wasn't a guy, this was a girl in a great disguise. I wasn't gay to kiss some dude like this, but I had my reasons to do this. It was important.
Once I stopped kissing the dude, I flung my arm back on his shoulders and said while looking at the elder, "As per the protocols, each heir is allowed to have a servant. Young Miss Yu has three while this young master doesn't even have one. So… this young master will be taking this guy, thanks."
I didn't wait for their answers and walked away with the guy(girl) to my seat. This dude's face was as red as Yu's raging face.
As for Yu, she couldn't believe just how many Ls she took under the span of a minute. She was so angry that she shouted out loud, "ELDERS, HOW CAN YOU ALL LET SUCH A THING TO HAPPEN!?"
"HE TOOK MY SERVANT RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE!"
Her screams were making my ears bleed even though I was a bit away from her. I wonder what was the case with the people around her.
The burly elder frowned and said, "Young miss Yu, please behave."
"BEHAVE? ME!?" Yu was fuming, not caring whether it was the master of the hall right in front of her.
I behaved in front of that guy because I knew his identity, but welp, RIP Yu.
To the burly dude, it didn't matter whether one was a big shot or not. What mattered to him was decorum in his hall.
The elder walked up to Yu's tiny frame and said while looking down at her, "Young miss Yu, in my hall, one has to behave. Because if one doesn't, then I'll not be polite."
Yu's body trembled in fear. She didn't know who this elder was, but she was scared of his domineering aura.
The elder then said, "As per the family rules, heirs aren't allowed to have more than one servant before their awakening. After the awakening, depending upon their potential, they're allowed to have more. Young miss Yu is already breaking the rules by having three servants, so if I were to pass this to the higher ups…"
Yu understood without needing to speak more. She was the one who fucked up and even if I was being audacious, I wasn't in the wrong.
Yu lost all face here and the elders went about their ways, ignoring what I just did.
It would be a difficult matter if I were to take some girl, but since it was a guy, it didn't matter to these guys. Also, I was the son of the main wife of the supposedly strong man of the family, so I was given a free chit once again.
My moves were calculated and even though my reputation was declining, I got what I wanted.
This dude on whose shoulders I had my arm around, was the treasure that I wanted and I got it.
To solidify my claim on him, I first ensured that everyone was looking at us and then smiled.
I put my free hand down at the guy's crotch and lightly spanking it, said, "Nice cock, bro."
