章 78: Pakura and Mei!
Mei looked at the two red-haired people and she remembered the words that had been said to her before.
'Follow them, learn from them, don't have ill intentions, and forget about the village. From now on, you won't be Mei Terumi from Kiri, but Mei Terumi, their servant.'
In Kirigakure, she had been repeatedly told this information via hypnosis illusion, and she looked at Kidou, whose picture was shown to her in illusion.
'He is your Master, and you are his subordinate.'
This sentence appeared in Mei's mind, and she stood up on the ground and bowed to Kidou.
"Mei Terumi has met the Master," Mei said while bowing, and Kidou showed no expression on his face while Tsunade looked at her weirdly.
As for Pakura, she was only told one thing.
'Forget about Suna and do as they.'
Pakura looked at Kidou and Tsunade with some hatred in her eyes as it was because of them that she had to leave her village.
Still, Pakura didn't say anything, and she just stood beside Mei with no expression on her face, but her eyes betrayed her as they had hatred in them.
Kidou rubbed his head while sighing as he looked at the contrasting behaviour of the two girls. Tsunade looked at Mei and Pakura, and if she was given a chance, she preferred Pakura as her subordinate instead of Mei.
After all, Mei looked like a dead corpse with no light in her eyes, and she seemed like the members of ROOT who thought of themselves as tools.
At least, for Tsunade, she can handle, and train Pakura, but if she had to train Mei, she didn't think she would be able to train her as she wanted.
'It seems Kiri has done something unexpected, or I should say, as expected of Kiri which was later known as 'Blood Mist'. There should be something in the village that set the fire and it leads to 'Blood Mist' in future.'
'I don't believe Obito, and Madara could easily control the village with just Mizukage and implement these policies.'
'Maybe it's the civilian ninjas, or maybe the Daimyo acting from behind again.'
Shaking his head, Kidou ignored these thoughts and he put his hand on Mei's head. He pulled Mei into an illusion, and he started to check her Mindscape.
"You can take care of her, I will see what I can do and if I can reverse the changes and brainwashing," Kidou said to Tsunade, who looked at him for a moment, and then she took Pakura away from the place.
Appearing in Mei's mindscape, Kidou looked at the dull place and he remembered the Mindscapes of ROOT Ninjas.
"It's the same!" Kidou muttered as he unlocked the seals placed on her memory, and he read the memories of the events that happened to Mei.
"Since the contract didn't dissolve, it means that fucker really thought that this would help me instead of harming me."
Kidou cursed Mizukage as he read the memories, and the torture done to Mei Terumi to make her obedient slave.
Yeah, it would be better to say that instead of being subordinate, they hypnotized Mei to act as Kidou's slave and listen to everything he says, even if she doesn't want to.
A sigh escaped his lips and Kidou remembered the future Fifth Mizukage and current Mei Terumi. He saw no resemblance between the two, and he understood that he had indirectly destroyed her personality.
"If I wanted a damn puppet, I would have captured her on my own and brainwashed her. Tsk! That old fucker, hehe! Sooner or later, he will be captured by Madara and made into a puppet. Originally, I planned to prevent this from happening, but it seems this will be a good lesson and small punishment to him."
Kidou said with a cruel look on his face, and he looked at little Mei Terumi at the centre of Mindscape. Her eyes were dull, and he used his chakra to calm her Mindscape and soothe her spiritual energy.
Mei Terumi, who had appeared in her mindscape, looked at the man who appeared in front of her.
"Who are you?" She asked with a dead look in her eyes, and Kidou smiled gently at her.
"Me? You will know in future. For now, just focus on the warm feeling in your body, and try to take control of yourself."
Mei looked at the man in front of her and she didn't do anything. Seeing this, Kidou didn't care much as he had expected this to happen, and he made a few hand seals.
"Go to sleep! When you wake up next, I hope you will be a bit normal with light returning in your eyes."
Kidou said as he put his hand on her eyes, and he closed her eyes. Various seal marks appeared on Mei's face, and they covered her whole body.
Kidou sealed pure Yin chakra in her Mindscape after taking some from Kurama, and this would slowly merge with her chakra because of the seals.
Mei would be in a coma for quite some time, and in an unconscious state, she would dream of the events that happened.
In another seal, he added some views and virtues that Mei will come to know as she lives in the Illusory world, and when she finds herself and the correct path, she will wake up.
Looking at sleeping Mei in Mindscape, Kidou sighed, and he understood that his plans had been delayed.
"This might be a blessing in disguise for her, but the scars from the past will take a long time to heal. She can either use the time in the Illusory world to heal herself, or find the correct path, and wake up to hear scars by looking for something in reality."
Kidou muttered as he left the Mindscape, and outside, he held Mei, who was about to fall to the ground. Creating a clone, Kidou sent her away from the place as she had no need now, and Kidou looked in the direction where Tsunade took away Pakura.
Listening to the screaming sounds of Pakura, Kidou chuckled as he hadn't expected anything else aside from this method from Tsunade.
He disappeared from the place and arrived at Tsunade's location. Dodging a punch to his face, Kidou crouched down and moved a few metres away from her.
Tsunade looked at Kidou who had arrived, and she ignored the fact that she had attacked him on reflex. Her eyes fell on Pakura lying on the ground with bruises and her mouth twitched when she saw Kidou's 'As expected' look.
"Don't think nonsense, this little girl is just acting." Tsunade retorted with a red face, and even though she had said this, the area around the place said different things.
Many craters were on the ground, and looking at them, Kidou sighed and shook his head.
"What about her?" Tsunade asked before Kidou could say anything and she changed the topic.
"It's bad. It will take time to heal her mind, but she will have to deal with the scars from the past. I didn't expect they would choose to hypnotize her to become a servant, and since the contract didn't react, it means that they genuinely believed that it would help me."
Kidou said with a deprecating look on his face, and Tsunade clenched her hand at words. She knew about these matters after paying attention to the ROOT base, and she had never expected that Mizukage would do something like this.
Pakura, who was hearing these words, shuddered at the thought of the same happening to her. She mentally thanked Kazekage in her heart, and if only she knew that Kazekage didn't care about her at all.
Her scorch release is good Kekkai Genkai, but for Kazekage, in front of Monster like Kekkai Genkais, such as Sharingan, Byakugan, and even his Magnetic Release, it paled in comparison.
"What about her? Did she agree to remain silent and see everything for now?" Kidou asked, and Tsunade smirked at his words. Seeing her smirk, Kidou looked at Pakura and he saw her showing a fearful look on her face.
"So, she agreed because she doesn't want to get beaten again?" Kidou asked with a playful smirk on his face, and Tsunade shouted, "I didn't beat her. I just showed what I can do, and what she can learn and do in future."
"She agreed on the words, but she had some conditions that made me lose some cool, and since I have been angry from the start, I couldn't help but pat her."
