Sigurd's consciousness floated in the darkness.

His mind was like a raft sailing the Yellow River towards his demise. He focused on the dark red sky; he felt everything drifting away. Feelings of kindness, affection, pity, and sorrow—all those human feelings—felt like sand slipping through his fingertips.

Thoughts and memories of his life flashed before his eyes while he lay on the boat deck.

At the edge of the boat, the back of a beautiful woman sways along with the paddle, her plump caramel buttocks swaying as if to entice Sigurd to remain on the boat until the end.
