章 19: Betrayal

The day has finally come, Laura's coming-of-age ceremony and her engagement announcement to Grand Duke Anwyl. I did not get any wink of sleep but that is all right because today will be a memorable day. 

This is the start of the novel. I should look out for all the events that will happen today. I need to focus because I might do something that the book wants. I do not want my pretty head to be detached. 

I wore a burgundy colored off shoulder gown, that has an above knee length slit, a pair of rubies jewelries and hair accessories. I rolled my long hair and used a long hairpin to pin it and just put some ornaments in it. 

I cannot look better than Laura, she will be pissed if I steal the spotlight again. This much can do. 

When I left the room, Abelard was waiting on the door "Do your job well, Abelard"
