Great work overall good development , even if you guess the usual plot it will be interesting to read.
So far this move is pretty good but the biggest flaw is the mc stupidity, you would think a “genius” with insane plot armor would be a little smart but he’s not. He makes the worst possible choices and you’ll feel like shooting yourself after reading the free chapters. I hate the direction of this novel because of this which is why I’m not going to continue reading. Aside from these, I think it had a lot of potential to become a great novel.
The book is the usual powerful marital spirt mistaken as weak and Mc get looked down on and hides real cultivation and of courses he find a hidden powerhouse inheritance and get the most powerful cultivation technique

First read at chapter 1 i knew this gotta be the INVINCIBLE Huang Xiaolong template kinda story. Maybe i'm right, maybe not cuz i havent read that deep into the story. It's up to you guys to continue, just sharing my opinion
I read this book before, so much like Invincible Conquerer by Shen Jian. Do not read this book and if you like the overall writing read the original instead.
This novel is absolutely trashy with lots of clichés and random encounters. MC no one knows how he can learn divine techniques just by looking at them
Regarding this novel “Invincible Divine Sword”.. it’s generic and boring in my opinion. You’ve got your usual MC who’s literal existence makes people hate him for literally no reason other than him being the MC, there’s the evil grandpa and uncle, underestimated MC who’s talents are actually top tier etc etc. If you don’t want to read the review below here’s what I think shortened down- I think it’s boring. (This is after reading 20 chapters) Also this novel is Really similar to the novel “Invincible”, they both essentially start out in the exact same way with different wording. Huang Xiaolong (MC of Invincible) is a pro-disciple of Shaolin Temple (from Earth) who dies and reincarnates to a new world with Martial Spirits and his body metamorphose scripture. Yang Xiaotian the MC of this novel “Invincible Divine Sword” was a disciple (hes from Earth) of the Wudang sect who dies and reincarnates in a world with martial spirits and his Taiji scripture. Eventually they’re brought to their martial spirit awakening ceremony where *surprise* everyone thinks they awakened some trash martial spirit (Huang awakens a common variant two headed snake and Yang a tortoise with a parasitic snake tail) but who would’ve guessed it? Yang actually has the legendary Black Tortoise as his supreme grade martial spirit and he doesn’t just have that but he actually has Twin Martial Spirits with the black tortoise’s snake tail counting as a second supreme spirit! Huang’s common two headed snake spirit splits itself and it turns out he actually has Twin top grade true dragon martial spirits! Blah blah they both have overwhelming talent that lets them cultivate at an unprecedented speed, the grandpa and uncle are generically evil towards them etc. Magically out of nowhere a random cheeky mischievous intelligent beast comes to play with them, leads them to a treasure and also to an inheritance that just so happens to be something the leader of a great sect left behind including his cultivation technique and other things. After that there’s some invite to academy stuff and thats the end of the chapters I read. You can’t tell me this novel isn’t pretty much the exact same as Invincible. I can just tell it’s going to be extremely similar. Let me tell you that Invincible was and still is an extremely generic novel, the author legitimately kept forgetting interesting plot and reused the same adventure arc 20 times just reworded with different cultivation levels and characters. I can tell this novel will likely be the same.
[This review is for only the free chapters of the trial read ] Okay so this is definitely a 'Brain off, Binge a hundred' type of novel. It is bad but filled with si much cliche that you kind of follow it and enjoy it for the 'Big sword go slash' kinda stuff. Literally, filled with OP martial soul that is mistaken due to it being in some kind of hibernation that isnt explained... like at all. He can somehow comprehend top tier techniques and skills (alchemy) from the first look just so the plot can progress. Im not gunna lie, I have no idea what his sword skill even does or why it is so powerful, and his alchemy seems to be from his flame and non of his skill ;-; Cliche villians of step brother and uncle who gets messed up as well as sect elders that clearly cant realise they may be wrong when a 'low level' talent can beat a very talented disciple even though he has no training, no resources, and most people in the family look down on him. World building is a City that the family live in... doesnt say its relevance in strength or locations as well as a sect that is probs gunna be a bit part of the plot but doesnt explain anything of. This is such a cliche chinese cultivation novel that im suprised he doesnt have a wife in the 5th chapter that devorces him for his step brother *shrug* Yes im salty because I was hoping for better but I unfortunately forgot it was a trial read. Imagine there is a slave who is treated worse than ants under our feet, what would he do, he would harbor resentment and try his best to free himself even if he cannot take revenge because he is powerless. In this novel you would find such a person who will try to lick his slave owner while still blabbering bad in his mind, he has power as of god in front of human but instead of being free and improving himself he still likes to be looked down upon.. POISON POISON STAY AWAY I HAD A DIVINE ANTIDOTE SO I AM ALIVE DON'T STRAY CLOSE TO IT.
The protagonist anf his family are a bunch of doormats. Maybe this was made by the Chinese government to show how Chinese citizens should behave- even if you become an immortal or god always bow down to those in authority.
Novel full of clichés implemented in the most simple way, super predictable, the Mc is stupid, his parents are ignorant pushovers and he is a pushover for his parents, is okey to pass the time, you just need to turn half of your brain off, but there are a lot of novels better that this one on webnovel if you want to waste time.
Characters mental processing is at the level of a disabled. Born into a family of cultivators with lacking brains, MC is a reincarnation whose background is not known, nor is it relevant to the story. He also inherited this worlds lacking ability for mental processsing, because of this clan ostracize his family and made them suffer. MC has insane amount of luck or fate as he randomly gets what he needs behind the scenes but is unable to think for himself or make decisions. Overall plot is nice with the direction of child born in a small county becoming a mighty figure because of the soul he awakened and a random inheritance he found(luck/fate). But every character exchange is infuriating because of their everyone’s mental state.
