概要

In the 90s, as David Stern waits anxiously outside the Great Dynasty TV station building, looking at the NBA recordings in his hands and pondering about how to enter the Chinese market brimming with potential, never does he expect that... Praying to God, actually works!
"Steel Shadow" (or Tetsukage if we want to go with the Naruto reference), "Northern Deity", "Smiling Guardian of the NBA hoop", "Never Shoots Unless He Does a Fadeaway Shot", "Elegant Jump Shots"..... When the bearer of all these titles, Su Feng, suddenly appears, it marks the beginning of youth for many people in the future!
"Ah spat! How far must these haters go! My nickname is "Godslayer"!" Su Feng complains after reading the newspaper.
G-O-D-S-L-A-Y-E-R. But have you wondered? How many godlike players can the NBA produce in the 90s?

this novel is absolutely amazing ... it is quite different than other sports novel, shows a lot of interactions... the character development could have been a bit better (like giving an idea about his past... there is just small hints about his background which could have been developed more) ... it is quite different to read but also quite captivating ... i really hope it is further continued.

(Will alter if needed) This story idea seems a little stupid. I'm desperate so I'll try it but if I don't follow up it wasn't good. . . . . . .

The story of the novel is quite straightforward which is basketball. Simply basketball. This correlates with his character, as from my perspective, the protagonist is emotionless and sole pursuit in life is basketball. The world is self-explanatory (USA). Honestly, this novel is quite boring. There's nothing besides basketball, which I understand is the whole theme and all, but what about his family? the audience's (people in the novel) perspective? romantic interests? Essentially, he's like a robot.

Ch60 - It's about basketball - it's simple - Light binge - MC - He's decent and acts his 40yr old age, hasn't used his modern knowledge yet but is aware of it, lacking a few grains in the personality department Plot - Simple, become a NBA player and get a fair-skinned rich and pretty wife - This is repeated a few times Author - Okay but does do a narrator ramble from time to time but has done his history System - It's upgrades, which is nice but Doesn't make sense to me, feels over complicated for some reason. However the MC feels the same Side-Characters - Like a Lettuce only salad - could use more stuff on the plate Romance - None - Author does describe a 16 year as having 'sexy legs' ..... yeh

Don't read the book it's a Chinese propaganda in the first chapter itself I have vomited twice by the cringe that they talked about the chinese. Wow Chinese are very brave wow we are very humble. the **** you are humble you are the most shitty country that is taking other country rights openly and saying you are humble. Fuck I am Outta here.

I really love sports novels generally and this ones really good so far the translation is amazing all the characters have some flaws for possible humor aspects I find it funny most of the time. Also not a all powerful MC which is really nice and you get to see him grow along with some of the side characters. The other characters are really well flushed out and appear more then three times they don’t fade into the sunset after just one chapter and never heard from again another plus. In short would love for this novel to be fully translated if possible. ~🐱

Very fun. The leveling system is based on actual effort and learning skills from actual players rather than 100% random pulls. Being able to improve your skills through training instead of relying purely on a system is great. Kobe is so cute with his reactions and Su is equally as cheeky! Love this so much and hope it gets picked up and fully translated and Kobe never rides a helicopter.

I havent tried that much sports novels, but this appears below average, at least compared to the Almighty Coach thing which was the only one I read into for a while (ended up dropping it due to various reasons). This novel's starting chapter was good, however a system was introduced in the next together with Kobe Bryant. After reading the next chap(s), this novel appears to be more of a fanfic. If you dont have lots of knowledge of basketball, U.S. basketball at that, you wont be able to enjoy this. Especially considering its taking places in 1994, meaning only people above 30 that are big basketball fans might be able to enjoy it to the fullest. The system was also sort of dulled the story. I think it couldve been better to write him practicing in another way instead of directly saying each thing he does. But this is one thing hard to achieve for a book vs a comic and show.

Its alright, but not great. The translation is good, and there are no problems in the grammar. However, one of the characters in the book is Kobe Bryant, who is portrayed very differently to how i imagined him to be, and more like what a chinese author would think him to be. Slightly unrealistic in some of the world building aspects, and about 8 chapters and 2 months in, i srill dont know the names of the MCs family, or anything about the MCs family. 6.2 out of 10

First. History will not be specific enough to prove I wasnt. This story idea seems a little stupid. I'm desperate so I'll try it but if I don't follow up it wasn't good.

comeeee backkkkkkkkk, for basketball novels there aint much better than this smh. Well others are like KnB, this one though seems fairly reasonable. Like it's still somewhat realistic compared to others where you cant miss shots or something

Ive never read a book like this im not even sure if there is a genre for this type. buttttt i love it. basketball mixed with a system and it takes present dah terms and ideas. also i like how historically accurate the author is. i have to give him props for his research on basketball players and stats. He has included what i assume to be weeks of research in this book. All a round great experience so far and a good read.

By far the best basketball novel I ever read, it is in my top 3 for sports novel. Some positive points about the novel are the interactions and the grammar, I don’t know why, but I can imagine Kobe talking during the novel. Another positive point is how easy to understand the system is, Normally soorts novels make their systems really complicated, but the system for this novel is very clear.
