So good and very unique. Beru is a dope character and one of my favorites from Solo Leveling.

When I saw ant king I thought Meruem from hxh, but this is new I never saw a fic with Beru from solo leveling soo far it's good I hope it stays that way.

Very boring. They story is essentially just the mc gaining powers and every now and then he's kidnapped/tortured without getting back at the people who did it and then he does nothing for awhile and then he's kidnapped again over and over again in a loop. The mc has no agency and is incapable of making decisions for himself without somebody telling him what to do. As I said, very boring. The author is also fond of that stupid old fanfic cliche where they make everybody in the original work evil idiots even when it makes no sense by their own story or canon as well. (the author really likes to have their "narrator" spoil the story in advance for some reason).

okay, you're not keeping character consistency like the point with the bear he could have killed it easily he can bite straight through steel yet you're telling me he had no way to fight at all? how does that make sense, you were making him weak through it all too when he ate the wolf shouldn't he have gotten everything not just being able to go woof he should have gotten more strength gotten faster things like that. this should have been amazing yet you made his growth far too slow and you should have stopped thinking he was like a human he's not so you shouldn't make him grow as slow as one
So by my memory, I already wrote a review but I looked yet can't find it, It might have been removed by the author but idk. I'm rewriting it simplified. It's all one star, Writing quality was a mess between tragedy and comedy, Stability I'm more mad about everything else so I'm gonna give this 1 star, Story development is about as dumb as possible, he comes out as a child beru and the caretakers try to murder him whenever they can, I'm pretty sure they gave him away to a rich person who just says "I need a few kids for reasons" Next he somehow get's recruited by AFO and get's given multiple quirks because he gives random people 50 quirks for an uspecified reason, after that he does the whole betrayal and joins the hero side because * Plot *, He get's protection in UA but he has to hide from the whole world, then he goes back to anti-hero helping out criminals doing robberies because he was tasked to do it by someone I don't remember. For character design I don't know how to put it, he's broken but is also sane, he's indifferent yet loves people and saves toga, he's an ant yet he wants to be a human after the years that he already got used to his body. He also ignored toga's feelings because a girl he barely knows and had a few drinks with was somehow better than toga who he lives with and basically saved her life, gave her refuge, knows she is interested in him, and is comfortable around her. But of course the person with him nearly all day is outshadowed by a girl who lives on her own, is nowhere near being compatable, and no reason why he'd want to be anywhere near her. So the character design is: Conflicting and stupid. World background isn't great, it basically uses mha and does nothing other than that. So this novel just isn't great, the mc is unlikable, the characters are contradicting and dumb, the development is confusing, character design is basically souless and only the ones close to him i.e toga actually have souls and feelings, world background hinges on the anime/manga and doesn't do anything original that makes it different. There's no clear direction and the characters decisions don't help. Looking back at it now, I have no idea how the author didn't have the doctor ,who assisted delivering him, try to end him as soon as he saw what he looks like, the mc did nothing other than living yet he has people constantly trying to kill him at 3 years old, he got thrown into the woods at some point, got kidnapped by AFO, got 50 quirks for reasons unknown, somehow had Nezu try and twist his story to make him be accepted into hero society, picked the wrong person to attempt a relationship with, goes to anti-hero to draw out lady nagant if I remember correctly, and then get's the ability to turn into a human which basically removed the ant king part of the title. I don't recommend reading this, I have no idea what the people who gave it 5 stars are thinking. If I don't stop here I'm gonna go off on how dumb this novel is but I'll stop here with this novel is just confusion and stupidity.
It has some flaws, but still really good! I had a long time trying to find something like this. Anyway, thanks to author for posting such a great story here.
this was going so well I mean not that well mc got a very weak personality for being a gangster in his previous life, him working under all for one doesn't make even little sense after that guy can't provide him any more power.or.quirks sure you might stay mc is not informed that he has already surpassed all for one but in so many years where AFO isn't showing his face he isn't even trying to test the water this guy even suspected *if I remember correctly* that AFO might be injured or something but didn't do anything about it and stayed with shigaraki even though this guy hated him also for some reason shigaraki never gives him orders to kill some hero it seems desperate by the author tbh also no one seems to notice when mc only complies to kill villains but ignore all orders of killing others given by shigaraki author uses the excuse of ALFO gave him the order to not cause civilians casualties and he is respecting that but then all for one doesn't seem to mind that his other order that was for mc to follow shigaraki orders is not respected by mc characters and their interactions seem too shallow all that was fine but when mc let toga walk all over him it broke the last straw

Good story. The mc is badass but he is smart and doesn't just stay stagnant with his power. If the author decides to give him a human form hope it will have a timer since I think that if he loses his Beru physic the story would lose something for me. I don't know what his going to happen now that all for one is down and Shigaraki is out of commission. I wonder if the mc will go in another world he could be pretty cool.

Its a decent fanfic. Its not something to die over, but it is interesting for a while. There are some things in it that don't make sense, but its still good enough. The plot is mostly about the development of ex-criminal and his personal life. So yeah, interesting read, but not anything major. The grammar is great, updates seem common, story develops good enough, the character design is good and world has some more depth than before.
Absolutely phenomenal story. Normally I don’t like reincarnation fanfics where they aren’t aware of the place they reincarnated in, but this story is definitely the exception. The main character, although slightly op, is well within the range of other villains that aren’t all for one. Him have a way to definitively grow stronger through time, makes him not have to rely on that bs ‘second quirk’ awakening and just make progress. Also having him be someone that would be automatically disliked by most for his appearance makes it a lot more interesting. I just hope the author doesn’t drop this story.
