She was not someone who ended up being misunderstood by others. Nope, not this one. The villain I am about to introduce to you all is a scheming, gold-digging demoness.
Shi Enxi had it rough. At a young age, she experienced things that a child didn't deserve. She lost her parents and her relatives took advantage of it. Her life changed after she was adopted by her half-sister. From then on, she decided that she was not going to allow others to bully her ever again.
She never had a good life so why should she allow others to have one?
Yes, that's the hideous thought that made her the villain in someone's story.
She grew up to be cunning, ruthless, and merciless. She destroyed so many lives, including the life of the person she loved the most.
Lu Mello saw how Shi Enxi's life unfolded with his own eyes. But who would've thought that he, a spectator from the sidelines would play a major role in changing our villainess?
Unlike Shi Enxi, he grew up in a loving family. Although, he never wanted to take over the family business.
How would these two play destiny's game? Rivalry? Infatuation? What should be the outcome of the game? Them as enemies, or as lovers?

Lu Mello looked at her, a bit startled with what she suddenly said.
When will his wife stop having such impure thoughts and for once just behave? "I don't have to die just for you to have everything of mine. You are my wife, all of these belongs to you."
Shi Enxi was pleased with what he said. She turned to him and leaned, giving him a soft kiss on his lips. "I will trust those words, okay?"
He chuckled, amused. "I didn't know that my wife is actually a little gold digger."
"Who wouldn't love gold?" She refuted back. "I'm even willing to marry an old man if he's this rich! But luckily, you're the one I married. My husband is handsome and rich!"
He pouted, "I suddenly feel hurt. You're only after the riches I have, not the love I have for you."
She placed her hand on his cheek, "I don't need you to shower me with your love, just shower me with all of this wealth then I am all yours!"
"..." This part of his wife was not cute at all! Nope, not cute at all!
Shi Enxi closed her eyes and let out a soft yawn. "I am free tomorrow..." She whispered sleepily. "Darling... There's this limited edition bag... that will be coming out tomorrow." Another yawn was heard from her. "... I really want to have one."
Soon after, her breathing became even.
Lu Mello couldn't believe that she even dared to ask for something before going to sleep! She didn't even say goodnight to him! What kind of wife was she?!

I remembered reading the first book in this series and I became hook with the story line.. But of all the books in the series, honestly I love the twist in this book in particular.. The heroin is a badass villainess.. And how she is tame by her own husband.. Hopefully the author can continue updating this book until it completes as I love to know the ending of their love story.. 😻
FAIR WARNING MY REVIEW HAS WHAT I WOULD CALL I GIANT SPOILER SO BEWARE I just started reading this book- OK SO MAYBE NOT "JUST STARTED , CONSIDERING I'M ON CHAPTER 156" BUT YOU GET WHAT I MEAN- anyway, i absolutely love it. Like i'm so happy that i finally got a book were the villainous MC was actually bad/evil and actually stayed that way up until the ML - love Lu Mello with a passion by the way (but Mello i don't rate you adopting a baby and using it as a replacement for the one your wife "LOST" , especially since you didn't even ask to see your baby that you thought was dead , when in actuality your baby isn't DEAD BRO!!!!!!) - shows up and helps her become a better person. The only reason i'm not rating this 5stars (even though it deserves it , is because there are a few minor spelling and grammar errors but other than that it's PERFECT. ALSO I LOVE ALL YOUR OTHER BOOKS AUTHOR , I'VE JUST STARTED READING THEM ALL .

By the way, this is what you are going to expect in this story: Writing Quality: I am an a.mateur writer and I know that you will be able to find mistakes here and there so please apply as my editor XD Stability of Updates: I am currently working with two novels at the same time that's why I'm only going to release 3-4 chapters per week, depending on my schedule since I am still a student. Story Development: The first part of the story is a bit heavy but just like 'The Devil's Sleeping Beauty', it will get lighter and lighter. Since this is a romance story, expect that this novel will be full of dog food in the future. *winks* Character Design: My FL is not a weak person. She is cunning and mischievous. Just like her sister Li Bingbing from 'Ten Years Late: The Bullied Husband', she doesn't back down without a fight. That's already in their genes. She is a devious person and her personality is terrible that is why I am planning to give her a big character development in the future. As for our ML, you'll find out about him as you read through the story. *winks* Clue: He loves to pamper our FL. World Background: Well, the settings of the story is taken place in the modern world. What more do you expect? Phones? Airplanes? Cars? Flying cars maybe? XD That's all! I hope that you'll give this story a chance and support it! (^^)
I simply love all the books of the author. I already live the character of Mello... but seems like this story is going to be more heart wrenching then the other three. Mello deserves to be happy .. if not happiest. I really hope the story gets a happiest ending.. else my poor heart cannot take it anymore. Dear Author.. I hope u start making this story a regular very soon.

I only have the synopsis as reference but I can already sense that our Mello's story is going to be abit heavy on drama. I just do hope he will still have a happy ending *fingers crossed* Please, please, please let this have a happy ending.
Sometime you understand the villain's point of view and where they are coming from. I always felt that the villains would get a sad ending. For once I am happy a villain is getting a good ending.
I completed the story but the ending was not what I was expected at all. Alert!!! Beware of ending☠☠ The starting of the story captivating,😳😳 the desire for revenge of the female lead, her sassy and evil cute 😈side of her. The Male lead💩 who accepted her for who wholeheartly accepted the FL for who she was. 😍😍 Gosh🤯🤯, but why on earth did she have to die on the representing that she truly changed. Aft er reading the ending I literally cried for 1min 20 sec straight. 😭😭
i love it, its different from Lu Yinfeng's stories but kinda same. I love how different the concept is from others. I really wanna know if we are getting story for the BAI guy who saved Lu Mellos sister?

Finished reading. I have tears in my eyes , im crying! From being selfish to selfless the journey , the plot , tge twist amazing author just amazing story. i cried hard atlast i feel bad for mello. but its ok. he would probably met her in the afterlife , or so i wish!

I really like your storys. And I love this couple. It's interesting to know a new side them story. Usually the authors concentrate a main characters. But for me really important to know a continuation or story about a minor characters. Thank you for your novels, I like everything.Good luck!!!!😘🤩🤩🤩

i read 29 chapter's of this novel.. so far so good... at first i was so sad to what is happening.. but i kinda like the plot twist of this story...to what will happen next.. it's makes me more exciting...thanks author...
This is so different from the story I have read so far. Instead of the female being reincarnated, the male was the one to have a second chance and it is so interesting that the female lead is the sort of evil protagonist hahahaha. I love those kind of character to leads.
