章 1: CHAPTER 1 - 'HUMANITY'S CURSE'...? WHAT A JOKE...
My name is James Briar and I was employed at the GAD (Greater American Detective Agency) which was one of those agency's only a little few had the knowledge to be in... I have been called the 'World's best Detective' at times... But in my life as a detective I can say that there has been only one case that I could never solve.
Only a few cases that the LAD (Lower American Detective Agency) couldn't solve were sent to us.. But this case was different.. The suspect was a heir to one of the richest groups and he refused to speak unless it was with the GAD... We had no choice but to agree to their request..
When I first met him I thought of him as nothing but a spoiled kid from a Rich Family.. He had Black hair and Red eyes which gave me an impression that he did not resemble the Tatsuki family who were famous for their Blonde hair..
His name was Ryou Tatsuki.. The second son of the Tatsuki group who were known all over the world for their Wealth and Trade secrets.
We transferred him to one of the best cells we had in the GAD and sent a detective to ask him of his cooperation.
"I refuse to cooperate-.."
"But you agreed to cooperate with us when you were in the LAD...!"
"Do not misunderstand.. I said that I'd cooperate with a detective from the GAD and that detective I said I'd cooperate with is Detective James Briar not you.. Mr. Anthony"
"You should have said so earlier.. I'll call James right away..!"
"Look at him go..! Haha..!!" whispered Ryou as he chuckled..
"James you are needed right away..!"
"I'm sorry Kenneth but I'm busy right now.." said James as he played with his phone
"You know I never take no for an answer.. And also the person asking for you is Ryou Tatsuki.."
"Him..!?"
"You seem interested now.."
"Do I..?"
