Saman leaned back in his chair, eyes locked on the glowing screen. Another manhwa chapter, another overpowered protagonist obliterating enemies with divine techniques. He grinned. "Damn, that's awesome!"
This was his life—reading fantasy and martial arts stories all day. School? Friends? Responsibilities? None of it mattered. He wanted to be like the characters in his stories, wielding supreme power, standing above all.
"If only reincarnation was real," he muttered, rubbing his tired eyes. It was past 3 AM, but one more chapter couldn't hurt—
A sudden earthquake rocked his room. Books toppled, his laptop slid off the desk. Before he could react, the ceiling cracked. A massive chunk collapsed.
Pain. Darkness. His last thought? Is this it? Am I actually going to be reincarnated?
Saman awoke in a void, weightless. No pain, no cold, no heat. Just emptiness. Then, a towering figure in white robes appeared, radiating overwhelming divinity.
"You have died," the figure spoke, his voice resonating through the void.
Saman's excitement surged. A god?! This is just like the stories! "Then—I get to reincarnate, right? Into a martial world?"
God's gaze was unreadable. "You may choose. Ascend to Heaven and find eternal peace, or reincarnate into a world of power and danger."
Saman grinned. "No hesitation. Reincarnation!"
God chuckled. "Very well. But before you go, I grant you a privilege."
With a wave of his hand, the void shifted. Saman now stood in a vast treasury, filled with divine weapons, glowing artifacts, and ancient tomes pulsating with energy.
His jaw dropped. "I get to pick one?"
"Choose wisely. This treasure will shape your destiny."
Saman stepped forward, heart pounding. His fingers brushed over a glowing relic. This was it. His new journey had begun.
