Tears slid down my face as the man laughed. I sided with the wrong person. I thought about how the person dead on the floor was the one trying to save the world while the man in front of me laughing was the one who tried to kill it. And the man, he succeeded….
The last thing I saw before I blacked out was the man, my companion, mocking me. Even if I could say anything about it I wouldn't. I supported the wrong person, I deserved it.
I woke up sweat sliding down my face. I looked around. Is this heaven no who am I kidding I'd probably go to hell for all the things I've done for that man. I closed my eyes and tried to rationalize this didn't seem like heaven or hell from what I've heard from books.
