概要
Damien never asked for this life.
Confined to a hospital bed, chained by a body that betrayed him, he spent his days battling the cruel joke that was fate. But when a single video game shattered his last shred of patience, he found himself facing something even worse—his own reflection, cast into a story that should have never been his.
"Fucking NTR game!" He said as he threw the console.
In the game, the player was nothing but a tragic figure. A weak, spineless fool, doomed to be discarded. A character whose sole purpose was to be broken.
But was that really all he was?
Thrown into a world that scorned him, Damien refuses to play by the script. If fate had already written his downfall, then he would carve his own path—one of defiance, of rage, of survival.
Watch as Damien, a man who once had nothing left to lose, fights to take control of a story that was never meant to be his.
Because in a world that demands he stay weak—he will either shatter expectations… or burn everything down with him.
-------A/N-------
The main character, Damien, is heavily inspired by Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077. Therefore, the main character's thought processes and his way of speaking may not be for everyone.
But those who can stomach it.
You will be rewarded.

レビューを書くThis shit has to be ai, three different novels with 10 plus chapters per week, impossible, ai allegations in shattered innocence reviews too.
--- In the beginning, I used to like the MC, but time and time again he started acting like a child trying to attract attention as much as possible. Pointless, stupid decisions like a child’s, like someone trying to spend their whole life changing their body, and when they finally do and don’t see surprised expressions from people, they try to commit suicide. It became similar to Chinese novels. The MC is not mature at all. The story makes me imagine the author exactly like that simp god—like someone trying to imagine his life in a “what if” scenario. Well, it’s okay if he imagines that—we all do—but your imagination is like that of a simp who’s been humiliated over and over. Honestly, I hate every character in this entire novel, especially the MC—except his father and mother. Don’t get me wrong—I don’t hate the MC because of how evil he is. On the contrary, I hate how innocent, stupid, and attention-seeking he is instead of being cold. If it were me, I would’ve become worse than him in terms of evil—but not that kind of evil where even cartoon villains for kids are better than him. Even his behavior doesn’t resemble an antihero, more like a side character. And what?? He could’ve used his family to destroy anything in his path—like those ants like Celia, Maureen, Leon, and all of them—but what??!!!!! “I have to prove to them that I’ve changed!!” This idiot is going to waste his whole life trying to change their opinion of him. It’s fine if that was a side goal that gets achieved indirectly—not spending more than 100 chapters or the whole story on it. And also, it doesn’t make sense that random mobs can talk to the MC like that. How dare they and how does he even allow it?? Especially Maureen—he should’ve destroyed that idiot’s family and ended this dumb arc. -
I wonder if this is also extremely slow paced like your last 2 books or its okay like your first
Well, Darkness Enjoyer. He has great potential as a writer, but he hasn't gotten over his nervous phase yet, the whole plot is based on "slaps in the face". The first 20 chapters are completely skippable and of course the protagonist is defined as a "sociopath", but not a real sociopath, but the retarded version that believes that this is being very cool, ruthless and invincible. Darkness, grow up!
I'll be real, I love this dudes works but damn man the pacing is slow as hell. I mean 163 chapters and it's barely 3 weeks deep. Add on to that the absolutely ridiculous pricing of fast past chapters, I mean come on man 3000 coins for 50 chaps is beyond nuts, especially when it drags so much you could be gambling 75 bucks to maybe get one or two days in world
A completely biased 5-star review because I loved the author's last two works! I'll edit this review after reaching 100 chapters
this garbage is ai slop maybe a quarter of every chapter actually has substance. so while there are a lot of chapters, In reality it's like 50 chapters worth of content. also author gotta remove "chat gpt said:" you know just a thought to at least give the illusion that it's not ai slop 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
*Sigh*....i love this book more than than the author’s other books, but ill have to snub it on the writing quality due to one specific reason....AI ... ChatGPT, deepseek, gemini, claude..whatever the author is using. its ruining the story.... whe. i read the first 150 chapters, i enjoyed it a lot, although glaring footprints left by AI were there, i could ignore them due to how interesting the story was, and how much the character of the MC spoke to me.... but get past chapter 150 and come right down to chapter 231, the author is nolonger subtle about his use of Ai at all, its become the elephant in the room... "huge. daunting. Noticiable"... those who read upto the latest chapters should notice the little gimmick i pulled with those words in double quotes, cuz thats one of the trademarks of the Ai writing that is in this book. the AI doesnt just ruin the story, it directly smashes apart any continuity in the story, like eating a 5 star meal only chew upon sand inside the food, at that point, no matter how much you are enjoying the food, you need to take a break from chewing, spit the sand out, amd rinse your mouth....but after that, the meal womt be the same again...you'll hardly enjoy it due to the fear of crunching on another grain of sand. if by some chance the author decides to read this, i implore you...Please, forget chatgpt, forget gemini, forget claud, forget sonnet, forget deepseek.....we want to read writing by you Darkness_enjoyer, not some tr*sh Co-authored by a frigging AI
The writing quality is good and the author has some good past works so I'm sure this will be good
276 chapters read The pace is very slow. The writing quality is very poor (There are repeated paragraphs). And after a few "ChatGPT said," we can tell it's an AI novel.
This story has the most insufferable protagonist I've ever had the misfortune of reading about. On a scale of one through ten, the main character would get a negative fifty from me.
First, this novel is written by AI. Second, MC is literally the characterization of sigma male mentality, with no character development at all. Third, not a single side character is properly fleshed out. Everyone acts like an NPC. Fourth, story is slow as hell. And it's not the world-building or character-development type of slow, it's just plain boring kind of slow. Fifth, there is no plot or a clear goal, all we know about the story is that MC hates the world and acts angsty. Sixth, Mc is always smirking, you'll see multiple times in every chapter that says Mc started smirking. I believe he is smirking even while shitting or sleeping. It's as if it is the only way of showing that Mc is confident about himself. In short this is absolute sh*t of an AI generated novel, don't waste your time.
It's been more than 280 chapters and he hasn't Awakened yet... I don't know what to say about this pacing but I am really getting tired of it... Please increase it... My humble request
I don't know about other but this hooked me up till now and without any sex scene till now , really like it and will appreciate author for this. Will request author to bring new chapter fast for us , looking forward to it
this novel has potential.. BUT THE PACING. THE F*****G PACING. It's slow, unbelievably so, without anything to cover for the extreme dilution: very repetitive descriptions, reiterated multiple times when at the end of 5 chapters almost nothing happened. After 200+ chapters the story barely started, i really hope the author fixes this awful pacing, or he'll be throwing a good work to shit and lose all readers.
Mixed feelings on this one. The premise is nothing new but it’s good enough to just read for fun and it’s entertaining but out of the 100+ chapters that I’ve read, nothing has really happened. The pacing is WAY too slow. Novels with slow pacing usually make up for it in writing quality and build up but this novel doesn’t have that. The progression of it feels forced and unnatural and it seems that the author doesn’t really know what they want to do with the series. The main character is the worst offender of this. He’s just awfully written and the writer is so biased towards him its insane. He isn’t naturally written at all and is very clearly just a character, I cannot visualize him as a living person that talks with people or has human interactions. He wins arguements that he very well shouldn’t have, he always gets the last word, we are told he is smart but nothing has been shown to prove that he actually is nothing (noteworthy anyway), people laugh if he says anything even when its clearly not funny or impressive. Everyone around him is either a major dickrider or a hater. He’s both barely progressed in the story (he’s still not even awoken his mana after 100+ chapters and he’s still not done with his body transformation) and changed completely at the same time. The side characters are boring and I can’t even remember a single one of their names even though I was just reading like 10 minutes ago. He isn’t in any relationships yet after 100+ chapters and theres been near to no actual progression in that department that isn’t forced. I fear the side characters are going to only get more boring when he does make the main character have a relationship The story is bland and clearly not planned out but I’ll continue reading for a while regardless. Overall if you want something to blow you away don’t read this but if you just want something to help pass the time then sure, read it.
