Zarafen - Profile

I'm in love with this family, which reminds me of my own Asian family back home. The patriarch is hilarious and his wife is the real pants of the family. Their sons are precious idiots while the daughters-in-law are amiable with each other and have distinctive personalities. The synopsis wasn't kidding when it said they suddenly get lucky all of a sudden. The matriarch and two of the three daughters-in-law get pregnant all at once, with the third daughter-in-law still as a maybe. The three brothers somehow keep getting fish and manage to hunt animals in the woods when other villagers can't. Also, they find lost stolen treasure in the mountains that they turn in for a reward. Great things keeping happening to them one after another but they're smart enough to realize that they should keep things under wraps or people might get jealous and have malicious intention. The main character still isn't born yet and I'm not sure where this story is heading. The previous dynasty of their empire keeps being alluded to so maybe later down the line, royal political intrigue will make a play into the story. I can't wait because I've already grown an attachment to this family and want to follow them through this journey.

It's cliche in that it has a famous doctor transmigrate into someone else's body due to her evil sister's tricks. Now she has another evil sister to deal with and more adversaries. The cold handsome CEO male lead has a disability, which she's obviously going to cure. It's a nice story, but nothing new that we haven't already seen on this site. Plus, the writing is subpar.
