Night at the museum anyone?
No one knew why the fallen soldiers rose from the dead every night to continue the ferocious clash, either. Why did they continue to fight? What power had been unleashed here? Who was the architect of this nightmare?

He would have to alter it a bit remove the runes that cause it to be consumed and the temporary part.

We’ll time to mass produce
Enchantment Description: [Catch the visage of a being into the Mirror of Truth. Activate the enchantment to destroy the mirror and gain one power of the reflected being for a period of time that depends on its potency.]

Not in someone else, but in the reflection of their eyes, that is how he got into the second nightmare
Ascended Bast was also in charge of an industrial production facility. In that facility, he… was making mirrors. Thousands of them, for unknown reasons.

Another option is to get a pair of prosthetic legs and make them into a memory
He did not want to leave his comrades behind. Sunny could understand that… but there was no other way. Restoring two legs to a person was not impossible, if sufficiently powerful healers were involved, but it took time, and a long period of recovery would still follow. By the time Luster was in good enough shape to fight again, the Antarctica Campaign would be over.

Ahh finally that would of been my first thing I did when I saw it.
Sunny seamlessly switched to a more agile and reserved battle style, summoning the Cruel Sight into his free hand in the form of a shortsword. The silver sword's [Ghost Blade] enchantment allowed it to strike down incorporeal targets… and so, the Scavenger was in for an unpleasant surprise the next time he chose to turn into a shadow.

He needs to be using the cruel sight it can damage incorpral enemies as well as use divine flame that can burn even its soul as well as dissipate the shadows around it.
At times, fighting him was like fighting water — when the Sin of Solace lashed out at the cracks in the bone armor, the Scavenger would turn into a shadow, allowing the jade blade to harmlessly pass through. Other times, fighting him was like fighting against an indestructible mountain — the plates of black bone seemed utterly impervious, and the creature's blows carried with them crushing weight.

The Egyptians never learn.
Sunny was feeling like he was on the verge of fainting, but forced himself to remain absolutely focused. Behind him, the myriads of dark beetles were already crawling across the shadow bridge. The wave of them were almost halfway across, putting so much pressure on the chains that a few of them were on ready to snap.
Fantasy · Guiltythree
Ahh yes he let the baby goblin get away. Thanks to goblin slayer we all know what happens when a baby goblin gets away.
Because of the sudden distraction, the wounded Scavenger was getting farther and farther away.

After thinking for a few moments, Sunny judged that he stood a good chance of breaching the heavy armor of the colossal vessel, provided that he used his most powerful Memories and had enough time. However, there was a big difference between creating an opening that a person could squeeze through and one that a vehicle the size of the Rhino could.

Maybe they are simply trying to create a body strong enough to inhabit by passing down their legacies they will eventually have a perfect vessel and be resurrected
What were divine lineages, exactly? Did they have any purpose except for bestowing their wielders with additional power? Were they just chance remnants of ancient bloodlines, or something that had been left behind for a reason?

Suddenly reminded of Hugues from full medal
"Sorry, sorry! I didn't… it's just that my daughter is your biggest fan!"

I believe if Kiko ( Lieutenant from the forgotten Shores aka poison ivy) survived the forgotten Shores, she would’ve been instrumental in reclaimeing some of the plannet. For example she could have created a plant that could devour radiation, increase oxygen production, and have the growth rate of a weed.
The waking world was not entirely uninhabitable, but it was certainly inhospitable to the species that had once populated its every corner.

One could say they dance with death almost on a weekly basis.
"They're not even dancing, they're just… rhythmically gyrating their bodies. It also appears that the proximity at which one is allowed to gyrate his or her body to other participants is representative of their… desirability? Anyway, they all look incredibly stupid."

Why not let her borrow the serpent so she can feel what it is like to properly use essence. I mean your aspects can be used to help each other so should the snake beside it can temporarily be used by another. It’s not like she doesn’t already have a direct link to his soul.
Now, Sunny felt that his own essence control was far more precise and nuanced than that of most, even without the help of Soul Serpent.

Could he steal a living person shadow.if so as we all know when the shadow dies or it is removed from the host so does the host.
Plus, he had a feeling that he had not discovered all the secrets of the Shadow Lantern yet...

I’m getting “” I’m standing on a million lives” vibe from this.
…But were they, really?

Maybe the water thing means something. Like when you need to wake a heavy sleeper from deep sleep you grab a bucket of wand splash it on his face.
...And of course, he was thrown straight into the damn river.

😑 I’m on on book 7
Before he could fully process the implications of this image, Sunny followed a strange instinct. Without allowing himself time to think about it, he opened his mouth, put the phalanx inside… and swallowed it.
