It was in the series. I can't remember correctly but since Pharoah was the one duelling raphael, if he loses, his soul would be taken. But at the last second, Yugi forcibly switched and take his control of his body, causing him to be taken instead.
"Hold on!!!" Joey yelled hurriedly: "I'm sorry, please don't hang up!! Time is running out! Those guys defeated Yugi and took his soul!!" When he finished, Joey's face turned pale, and he frantically covered his mouth.

That sure is interesting and I will have to think about it. I don't know much about chancellor Sheppard's dojo so I might need to do more research and Cyberdark dragon is actually a machine monster so it might not create much synergy pairing up with Yuna's deck but can work if its a stand alone cyber dark deck. I was thinking that once the story finishes, I should do some side stories, one including Zane Truesdale and it might be useful then.

Aizawa glared at me and my Rassengan suddenly dissipated. However I expected something like this and immediately changed my stance into a high kick. Aizawa took a step back and my foot narrowly missed his face.

I was still a little confused on the rules of the old yugioh back then. That's why I changed it on the premise of Pegasus is hosting a tournament with his own rules.
