The writing feels really amateurish, as if the author doesn’t know where the story is coming from or going. There’s no sense of professionalism at all. How did the MC even know about the Soul Hall and Yao Lao? And Yao Lao doesn’t even question the MC’s intentions? It just doesn’t make sense—had to laugh at how ridiculous that was. Each chapter just gets worse. The author constantly takes the easy way out, ruining any potential for real character growth or story development. What he did with Medusa is honestly a disaster. It’s like he killed off the character and then slapped the same face and powers onto a totally different person. I’ll keep reading a few more chapters just to see where this mess is going, but honestly, I’m not expecting much at this point.

Each chapter that passes gets worse, the author always chooses the easiest way to solve the problems, and ends up ruining the progression of the story. And what he did with Medusa is basically killing the character and creating a new one with the same appearance and powers. I'm still going to continue reading a few more chapters but I don't have any more expectations.

This soap opera is confusing, I don't know when he changes worlds, so it gets very confusing
I have read the entire story before writing this review and I have to say the last I think this fanfic is great, the only downside is the translation. Just in the first chapter and already there were mistakes in the translation, the Cultivation Realms were wrong. I thought it would be fixed but nope, all the way till the end the Cultivation Realms were named wrong. Throughout the entire story it became clear that the translator just took raw chapters to Google Translate and posted them without reading what he posts. This many times led to mistakes in the translation and posting chapters in the wrong order. While reading I was getting so angry that I know that no matter how much I enjoyed this story, I was going to give it a 1 star just because othe translation. It had good potential, only to be ruined by an uncaring translator. A shame!

Story progression is horrible, it's like mc is in a speed run. Almost all charectors he meets trust him willingly follow him which makes no sense. Yao Lao was betrayed by his own disciple and he trusted mc like it's nothing when he knew nothing about him or his character
