MANDÉ : The Lion Awakens

A long time ago, the Mandé was a fractured land — torn apart by rival Faamas (kings) and haunted by the wrath of ancient spirits.
Men and women lived under the rule of Nyama, the living force that shapes all creation, as dangerous as it is sacred.

To restore balance, twelve kingdoms gathered in Niani, the Heart of the Mandé, and forged a solemn pact.
Each kept its identity, yet all were bound by a shared destiny.

From this oath rose an age of heroes, tyrants, and immortal legends.
But in the shadows, the Sorcerer-King Soumaoro Kanté and the Sosso rose against this fragile unity.

Now, the Mandé stands on the edge of a war that will decide the fate of all twelve kingdoms.
And among the heirs of destiny, one name begins to echo: Djata — the boy destined to awaken the Mansa Supreme and carry the weight of the Mandé.
