Have you ever thought of quick success, but knew your worse fate wouldn't let it happen?
It's a feeling you can't express, but you still feel that somehow, someday, God will listen to your wish and make it happen.
The same thing happened to me.
At one point, I was careless about my life, but suddenly one day, I realized I hadn't done anything. And now, like others, I was also looking for quick success.
Then it came.
The VRMMORPG game called 'Apex Survival' – a game not developed for some kindergarten kids, but for adult kids, like myself.
It was the game where you could earn a fortune, but as the name suggests, only Apex Survivors could earn that fortune. With every level-up, you'd earn cash, but every death meant a penalty, reducing your level as well as your chances of survival.
"This isn't just a game. It's my only opportunity to change my life."
With that hope, I logged into the game. And like others, I was also granted one unique skill. But what is this? A garbage collecting skill – why always me?

Those were his thoughts when others laughed at him, and he cursed his fate for getting a garbage collecting skill, until he finally used it for the first time.
That's when Ray realized.
"This isn't just a garbage collecting skill. It's the garbage collecting cheat-skill."

I thought again and again, and then I realized that even if God wants to help us, we still have to make an effort for what we dream of.

This is a plot driven story and there are many tags which I haven't added yet.
The story will be slow paced.It isn't like the story where you'll start killing a dragon in just few chapters. it's more about leveling up, survival and more of a grind.
The game is based on a dystopian/post apocalyptic world, with more focused on mixed tech and magic, which means you'll see Mc using guns but with magic abilities.
I'm a new author so expect little few mistakes from my side.
50 chapters are done.

The WORLD is really unique, I really liked the characters too. even though the story is slow paced, it doesn't get boring.
sort of felt like the potential man of video game genre, had many elements that could have been explored..would have been a bit cliche but good none the less for cons a completely noob mc with no redeeming quality - completely brought down the story the skill is too op and broken..its not scavenging its frigging time and reality manipulation at chapter 20.. story went for a slow build so world building seems inadequate..no info about anything ..even game is basically walking around and random minigames.. pros like mentioned ..could be a good read like some old classics scavenger is not used frequently..if mc was versatile it would be op even without being unbalanced like dude actually studying things to make and then scavenging parts instead of just willing for a railgun to appear from sticks and stones.. and this novel seems to be going in game reality merge direction so chance for acend for mc all in all it looks like a story where problems keep coming for mc ..who is a complete noob but pulls a reversal with his op skill with a poor name and plot for face slap

tbh i like the story but would it kill the MC to be a little serious or not so “i suck” mentality i get the aspect of not caring for other’s opinions but he doesnt even check his stuff frl
