Hunter had been mulling over the feelings that he had for Evan. He still missed Kevin and not a day went by that he didn’t feel guilty about what had happened to Kevin. And now there was Evan to add to the guilt. It was true their physical similarities were what had drawn him to Evan in the first place, what made him choose Evan over the hundreds of other plastic surgeons available, but now that Hunter had met Evan, had talked to him, he’d found that, other than the physical likeness, Evan was not like Kevin at all, other than the physical likeness. Evan was older, for one thing, and he was much more determined and stubborn than the softhearted Kevin. Yet there was an air of…fragility about Evan that made Hunter feel protective towards him, especially since he heard about the threats Evan had received.
