This is a great story with a strong female lead, a great supportive male lead and a very supportive family. I especially love her bond with her master, the children, her pets and her allies. A great story line that keeps me captivated all the time. And last, but not the least, our lovely author is always active. She takes time to read our comments and reply back to each one of them. Let me drop an initial review. I accompanied the author in the first 17 chapters since the new year. The writing quality is superb, the visual imagery vivid. Like in the hanging bridge, I could feel the thrill and the fear. This book is worth your time. I hope author would release more chapters daily as I can't wait for more.

I am at chapter 12 and I decided to give an initial review. I am a new reader at web novel and this is the first book I read, recommended by a friend. I like how the story is developing. The FL is strong and I hate weak FLs, so I like this. The visual imagery ... it is just a WOW!

I love this book. The story is quite unique. A trained assassin from the modern world thrown into the ancient time. No cheats, nor system to rely on levelling the battle ground. I can't wait for more updates .

I often like FLs who are strong and not manipulated and Lara is like this. The ML too is not a scumbag, thankfully. I had completed Volume 1 and I assure you it is worth your coins. I am looking forward to Volume 2: The Rise Of An Empire!

This is a well written book. The characters are well developed. I like the FL and how she helped those broken women rise from the ashes. The love angle is not so cheesy and the male lead is not a scumbag. I also love all the side characters especially the brothers and those the FL saves along the way. This is an absolute gem. Highly recommended.

So I decided to write a review. I read enough chapters to tell you that I really like this book. I like how the author depicted the FL as a doctor and an assassin. She has a compassionate heart of the healer but a ruthless one when dealing with enemies. This deserves a five star rating. Well done author. I wish more people will find your book.

This is a rare find. I love Lara’s character and that of Alaric. I also love the side characters, Sandoz, and of course Master Jethru. Even the simple minded Reya is a nice addition. I hope more people will find this treasure. Well done, author.
I had completed Volume 1 of this book: The General’s Lost Daughter. I thought it is time to drop another review. I truly like the book. The author’s writing skill is good. I got hooked and had looked forward to the daily 2 chapters updates everyday. The FL is strong and smart. The ML is not a scumbag. Some of the brothers are annoying at first but they treated their only sister very well. The side characters are lovable and the villains, well I like how their schemes always backfired. A beautiful story blending some scenes of the present into the past. It is full of adventures, drama and a little humor. I look forward to an action packed Volume 2: The Rise Of An Empire.
