I hate memory loss arcs. But I know it’ll get way better! Hopefully my glorious 🐐 THE BOSS continues to show why he’s the best written character ever. I love all your books so I know this is a automatic 5 stars!!!
I have just started this novel, but if it's anything like his previous novel, I am here for the long haul as he keeps writing. His stories keep you reading until he finishes the novel and makes you pick up the new one as soon as it is released.
Novels like this make me wish I was put in a coma, and when I wake up it’s all finished and there for me to binge read in peace. I’m about to be 100 chapters into the novel and so far it’s great. Writing quality has been steadily increasing over the last 3ish years of the authors writing, and so has the plots and said plots’ planning. The update stability makes me want to marry the author. I’m serious. I wake up and BAM, 3 chapters daily. I love you. Im about to go into a rant, but before one reads this, please note that it is the ONLY issue with the novel. I am 100% honest with this too, so yeah. Nothing is perfect. One thing I would critique is an excessive amount of inner monologue filling up majority of a chapter every now and then, or a chapter or two full of lore drops teaching something that, while relevant to the story, is something that us readers as people will never use. This applies to all novels and stories I guess, but still, me laying in bed in this boring world of plain laws of reality doesn’t need to know about the fundamentals of mana circulation for a whole chapter. If it was an anime it would be different, coz it would look cool, but in written format it is still cool, but forgettable. Teaching about lore that is relevant to the story itself though would be an exception to this issue of mine. I think it is just this author’s writing style, but yeah, some chapters just feel dragged on a single detail or though instead of progressing the story or what’s happening in it. That is is though. That’s the ONLY complaint I have. writing all that is just me going into detail about the one and only issue I can find. Well, maybe the lack of badass cool female characters too. Please add women that don’t get overshadowed by the average man in future plots. Even the strongest of the strongest can be a woman this time man😭big muscular men are overdone, give some variety. Okay that’s 2 issues, that’s it. Out of 100 aspects, 98/100 are amazing and those 2/100 are issues. Also I believe no one who rates the novels on here knows what a 5 star rating is lol. Even the best literature of the modern world rarely has 5 star reviews. Okay I’m done.
So raw typical webnovel stuff they write trash first 200 chaps then improve on the mc behaviour and later call it character development this is trash bro ngl arrogant mc Chinese young master characters xiaxia level interactions title says assasin mc behaves like like some beserker warrior that gains power up from attention
I’ve tried and eventually you have to accept reality. Writing quality is mediocre at best as is this writing style. I can poke holes in every omniscient moment the characters have loopholes that the author makes to seem non existent. Flat characters on numerous contradictions have done this is in. All in all average level of entertainment and execution isn’t worth staying upto date on.
This book is undoubtedly a masterclass in storytelling from the very first chapter. It immerses you in a world that is dangerous, captivating, and emotionally rich. The pacing is sharp, the stakes are high, and every scene feels intentional, nothing is wasted. The author doesn’t just write action; they breathe life into it. The choreography of the fights, the suspense in every moment, and the slow unraveling of Leo’s past are all handled with precision and care. Leo is one of the most compelling protagonists I have encountered. He is morally complex, emotionally layered, and constantly evolving. He feels real, someone trying to survive while being haunted by instincts he doesn’t fully understand. I don’t just root for him; I feel his internal conflict every step of the way. And the cliffhangers… my goodness. Every chapter ends with the impact of a punch to the chest or a drop off a cliff. Just when you think you've figured something out, the author introduces another twist, revelation, or gut-wrenching decision. It’s addictive in the best possible way. After 130 chapters, the writing remains strong and consistent. It’s clever and layered with meaning. The dialogue is sharp, the world-building is deep without being overwhelming, and the tension is constant. I can feel the effort and passion behind every word. This isn’t just a good book; it’s brilliantly crafted. If you want a story that keeps your mind racing and your heart pounding, Timeless Assassin will not disappoint. Massive respect for the author for creating something so gripping, smart, and unforgettable.
Fifty something chapters in I am very impressed. So far this is better than Terra Nova online. The author is really getting better.

Raj has been consistently writing great stories one after another. If this maintains the same quality, we are in for another great read.
One star for now because this is beyond confusing. People keep mentioning book one and the other story, so on and so on but no where does this say It is book two. It starts off like it is its own book. But people in the comments keep jumping to conclusions about stuff that I don’t know how they are getting then the author goes and likes it showing it’s true. If this is its own book then I have no idea what these people are on about and I’ll keep reading but if it’s book two or somthing of the sort maybe say that somewhere.
I really love this book, i also like how most of the plot holes which might have been there aren't e.g him not having the ancient swamp frog egg and things of that nature. Also i like how you dont waste chapters covering things that could be covered in terra nova. (I love your books, i've been reading them since strongest guild master)
It is a great work. On top of that, it is enjoyable that even without knowing the previous parts, you can or and basically recover memories along with the protagonist.
so far so good 30 chs in and i gotta say its really good especially the whole memory wife it allows for a soft reeboot so if someone just started reading timeless assassin without tno they would be able to read it without being confused about whats happening so props to the authors with making a sequel that could very well be a book on its own and ngl the memory loss arc is so far so good not cliche not super boring actually really fun to read imo and god damn bro I like how it went from a light hearted funny vr novel to real world without messing it up because a lot of ln about vr games usually have bad transitions to real world *coughs* white online.. ahem sorry about that
Author Review :- Okay, since I've been writing for over 3 years on this platform now, and know what most of you ask, I'll just use this space as an FAQ section. 1. This book is not a harem. 2. There is no smut, Yuri, Yaoi in this book 3. Yes, there will be gore/ violence which is why this book is rated 17 and above. 4. The MC is smart from the start, and there won't be dumb choices made just for the sake of plot progression. 5. The story is written with the intent to maximize reader immersion. It's different from my other books, with more emphasis on the audiobook feel in case you listen to the chapters instead of reading them. 6. Expect this to be a 1000+ chapter book. All that said, I hope you enjoy this series. 😁 And feel free to ask any questions/ reservations you have about reading the book down below.
