So this is my second read through the current chapters and I can say that the author completely ignores this bond system after this event. Almost like he forgot it existed.

That is not what a halfling is. Either the translator is stupid or the author had no knowledge of fantasy races. or they're racist and using halfing as a comment on the fact that they're half this race and half of another.

She was a Halfling—Half-Elf, half Sprite, apparently. And Halflings were not welcomed in the many towns and villages inside Maze Forrest, the Elves' territory. Another reason why Erendia Town was outside of the said Forest was because of the Halflings that the Town Mayor welcomed into its doors.

No. Beastman is what you're looking for. I know the post is a year old. Also this author just describe a satyr. Halfling is not referring to being half this and half that. A beast if it is a race is either beastman or another name based solely on that race. for example a centaur could be considered a beastman but never is. Beastman generally are just humans with animal features such as wolf, dog, cat, lion, etc. This author or whoever translated this novel has a real lack of knowledge concerning mythological being and games in general. which ruins what feels like a good story.

Agor, a Halfling merchant. Another race in the game that would be accessible later on.

God this is silly. it's been a long time I've seen someone use this kind of set up for a game.

In COVENANT, classes were restricted by race. Like for an example, the Human race, the only Class available was the swordsman and thief.

Not even 3 chapters ago it was saying there were guilds that had reached level 5 like the Heavenly Melody guild.

The sight was grandiose in the meadow, with a total of sixteen guilds built, twelve of them at level 2, including Unfettered Fate. None had reached level 3 yet, but the Heavenly Melody and Black Swan guilds were close to it.

i think he literally means "OLD" oil. As in oil that has been cooked and used.Some dishes actually require old or used oil to produce certain types of flavor.

Even though the system had shortened this process from six hours to one hour, he still had to constantly stir the oil in the wok while simultaneously adjusting the flame temperature to produce a good batch of old oil.

I just want to mention that until spices were found most countries and cultures for that matter made extremely bland and dry food.
