Does this represent power in the words themselves or the fact that a wizard is speaking them with intention gives it power? After all, it is questionable what makes wizards speak in butchered Latin for their spells, as opposed to simply speaking something into existence.

There is a common thread to the type of magic that require vocalization, words of power. Any spell that is against the very nature of magic itself must be vocalized. It is unnatural for a human to dominate another so completely as one does with the Imperius curse. There is nothing found in the entire world that can devastate an individual like the Cruciatus curse. Magic is sentient, it is not just enough to intend magic to go against its nature. It is not sufficient to try and will the unnatural into existence. To make one break its very own essence is no simple feat.

Maybe when his alchemy is at a high enough level and he gets more unique ingredients from across the multiverse, he could make something special from this.

With his high stats, he should look into mage training. Having structured magical knowledge can't be a detriment. Besides, signs are cool, but they are limited in application, compared to true sorcery.

This nugget of information lodged itself in Wayne's mind. If the rumors were true, the Griffin School possessed magic knowledge specifically tailored for witchers. Mastering some of those spells could significantly enhance his abilities. George, the Griffin witcher right in front of him, was a valuable resource.

Could MC work to fix that? Being able to have children would likely swell the number of Witchers as they would likely inherit the powers, negating the need for the trials.

Although their lifespan can be extended to hundreds of years, after becoming witchers, their bodies are already very different from humans. Not only can they no longer have offspring, but it is even doubtful whether they are still humans.

I feel like they are vastly underestimating mortal (HP) magic. He is only aware of the basics that are available to the public. He knows nothing of the unique magics like Protegeo Diabolica, Time Turners, the Fidelius Charm, Hocruxes (though I wouldn't recommend it), Felix Felicis, etc. They wrote off everything rather quickly, not realizing that mortal magic users can have great ingenuity even if they don't have great power.

Neither of them really cared about that though seeing as the magic of immortals tended to be much more powerful, not to mention more exciting.

How would he know the "energy composition" of Infinity? Beyond that, why would he do that? If you were to say that he wanted to he wanted to learn Infinity, that is likely something that could be done through demonic spellcasting. As for turning his POD into something calmer, take inspiration from the Reverse Curse Technique and make it a Power of Creation.

Although Infinity was badass, Azaroth knew the energy composition of Infinity didn't work to corrode the opponent so Azaroth's current mission was to remove the Destruction from POD.

I take offense to that as I don't think like that in real life. Let's face it, if the MC were to add them to his harem it wouldn't be because of love, but purely because of lust. If they were going to be added, it signaled that this would be a harem in which he would add every slightly beautiful woman, only held together by plot armor. As such, when you look at it objectively there are few reasons to add any of these fallen angels to the harem. My answer would be different if the fallen angels had any redeeming qualities or if there was a real likeliness that the MC would grow to care for them, beyond feelings of lust or ownership. It was corroborated by the author that if they joined the harem, it would be as maids and I don't see any healthy relationship growing from the power dynamic as the person who defeated them and then became their boss.

Better but still doesn't change much. He doesn't have a binding vow or another type of contract magic to force compliance and using fear isn't the best method to have people working for or getting involved with you as they would try to undermine you whenever they get the chance. Besides, I stand by the idea that harem members should be people of decent strength, or at the very least potential, as there is no point in being involved with useless people in such a cutthroat supernatural world. Sure he could use alchemy to make them stronger, but you have to question if it is worth it. Once again, they once again don't offer much to keep them around. The only thing they have is that they are beautiful, but there are countless beautiful women in DxD. After he defeats them, he should just pluck a few feathers, take some hair and blood samples, and then give them to Azazel to form a good relationship with the Fallen General.

What reason is there to elevate these fallen angels to harem members? They are weak, have no political influence, and have little in the way of redeeming qualities. The best uses for them would be as servants like in your last fanfic, or for him to use them as ingredients for his potions and elixirs. At least with the second way, he can start working on an elixir to get racial traits.

Likely, but that is somewhat limiting. He could mimic almost any power from any anime, book, show, movie, etc., so long as it is possible in his world.

Not really. Becoming a devil is still beneficial, whether it is the long lifespan, potential boost (I'm assuming since their race more easily reaches High Class than humans), or most importantly the imagination-based casting. Even if we ignore that and he doesn't become a devil, he could form a trade relationship that would allow him to get materials and knowledge.

And as for joining the Gremory Peerage, well that remains to be seen. But what is for sure is that he will milk her for all she is worth.

It's not even that he would she would still be his master that is a problem here. He would be a fool to just take her up on that offer when they never had any interactions before.
