iWizard: Wasn't really a censorship, this event wasn't important enough to be described in detail. Why should we care about some tertiary characters who appeared literally for one chapter? And it's not like killing those nobodies had any significance for the development of the MC - we already know he's ruthless. Would you like to read about every insignificant character killed by the MC in detail? In my opinion it would trivialize the novel and put too much emphasis on violence and killing, which are actually an everyday occurrence in this setting and shouldn't be something extraordinary.

livE_Canadian: This some Game of Thrones **** right here. Can't tell whose who, and anyone can die at any moment.

I was just happy to read a heartwarming moment between our side characters as a way to relax and release the suspense built up by the past few chapters, but I really should have known better lol.

iWizard: Well, fck me sideways... This novel can be borderline genius in one chapter and then suddenly become borderline cheesy and trashy in the other one. Like come on, I had a hard time imagining a big golden monkey swinging a 1000m long stick around without chuckling. What's next? Will the big eye turn into Godzilla? Will they topple some skyscrapers? Is this a parody?

iWizard: I seriously can't stop myself from commenting about how shallow this novel feels. I can't exactly point out the source of this, but the most probable cause of this feeling are completely generic and forgettable secondary characters. Some of them are not even given a proper name (Wilson's wife). I just tried asking myself if there were any impactful or memorable secondary characters so far and came out with nothing. Static cardboard cutouts: cute little tsundere sister; straightforward and strict, but at the same time an incredibly stereotypical father figure; token waifu, who's very beautiful and will probably get kidnapped/threatened due to her beauty... Not a single thought through secondary character. Even wizard Jason was much more relatable as a small-time antagonist. Even right now the author keeps introducing more NPC's, I hope we can finally get someone interesting in this arc, otherwise it will be a typical case of 'muh MC has 400 IQ' type of novel, where everyone else is mentally & emotionally retarded.

iWizard: Oh here we go, another progressive NPC from Twitter complaining about various 'phobias' and 'bigotry'. We are not in Orwell's 1984 yet, so you can 'translate yourself out' back to Twitter. These social terrorists will never cease their attempts at censorship. It is a work of fiction, nobody cares if your 'fee-fees' were hurt. If you don't like it - don't read it. You being offended doesn't warrant censorship, grow up already.

iWizard: We may as well prematurely offer our thoughts and prayers to those 'temporary' boyfriends introduced so far. My bet would be - everyone dies in an unsightly fashion: either by being devoured by thousands of gigantic insects or stomped into minced meat by a descending god, or hypnotized and then promptly sacrificed to some foreign entity.

iWizard: The harem tag will soon be added to this novel, I suppose. Let's count 'em waifus: there are 2 Chinese chicks from Stanford, the secretary, his so-called senior sister from the Gate, his step-sister, his childhood friend from the village, Sheila, Trish, Tina... Am I forgetting someone? Maybe his older step-sister and her friend too?

I do hope there won't be any excuses and moral dilemmas about the surviving witnesses. He should dispose of them quickly and mercilessly, otherwise his previous inner monologue with Solus is just another edgy diatribe. View More

iWizard: Leylin had a lawful evil alignment, which slowly progressed into neutral evil. Forgive me for my over-reliance on D&D alignment scale, but I find it very useful for succinct description of any character. So basically, here we have two neutral evil bastards trying to screw each other while simultaneously screwing their mutual enemies. They don't respect order or the rules from the start, Leylin becomes like that much later. One can even say that Bad Ning's alignment is much closer to chaotic evil , considering his behavior at the start of the novel: killing for fun, etc. Leylin was a much more approachable character because he was still developing and adapting. FY is an old fogey and his character is pretty much fixed. This fact makes his occasional homicidal tendencies quite predictable, this this story won't be centered around his personality or relationships with other characters, but it will mainly be about him recovering his power and cultivating by exploiting weaker side characters like these children. And I like it :)

iWizard: He finally snapped. This sect has thoroughly awoken his Chinese mentality. Right now, he's only calling other people "ants" and I expect this will soon 'evolve' into "Courting death!" and then after 300-400 chapters it would probably reach its final most infamous form of "Impudence! I, your grandfather, Zhang..."

Supreme Magus · C249

Fenrir323: I dont understand why so many readers cant understand Lith for breaking the mindlink. The betrayl of Solus was the worst that could have happened. In this world he can and will lie to everyone except Solus. He told her everything. In a world where he is an Alien he can only speak with Solus. And that trust was broken. No matter what the reason was. Even if she meant it for the greater good. She shouldnt have broken the trust Lith has in her. It is impossible to go back how it was (in my opionin).

Supreme Magus · C249

McCane: I have quite the problem with the way this story uses "lies" and "secrets". Is it really lying when he is not telling everybody personal information? Is he lying when he isn't telling information that WILL hurt him and everybody else that knows about it? And there is another thing if it is about complex things nobody has all the information and it is not always possible to pass on information. Then everything is about trust. So they do not trust him to make the right decision but demand his absolute trust. Relationships like that are not on an equal level.

You would be correct, if Phloria wasn't comparing 'apples to pears'. There's a big difference between lying by omission to protect someone from harm and lying in order to manipulate someone or, in this case, lying to essentially punish Lith for his ostensibly 'bad' behavior. And that's only the first 'layer'. Emotionally retarded protector and Solus knew EVERYTHING about Lith and still decided to cooperate in order to correct his 'wrong' behavior. It was a truly vicious lie exactly because they knew everything about his previous life, they weren't ignorant about it. Phloria didn't know about this, but this still isn't even remotely comparable. It's like comparing lying to one's mother about being happy and successful while struggling in life and lying to one's mother about one's tragic demise while blaming everything on her wrong way of raising kids, just in order to correct her ostensibly 'wrong' behavior. See the difference? By the way, who are they(mentally&emotionally retarded duo) to judge Lith and to decide what's wrong and what's right? His way of doing things is based on his experience and character. Trying to 'reeducate' someone else to your liking is not a sign of love and support, it's a sign of someone acting high and mighty from his/hers moral high ground and it is, essentially, the highest form of entitlement imo. Let's do an unrealistic thought experiment: How would you feel if someone told you that your mother had tragically died. Later you find out that she conspired with your entire family to pull this off and their excuse is exactly what the retarded dog had said in this novel. And don't forget to add a previous trauma of losing a loved one to your 'theoretical self'. I find this discussion rather redundant because this whole situation, with protector coming up with such a dumb idea and Solus actually supporting it, is very unrealistic and could be explained with lazy writing. The author was trying to create some drama to find an excuse for a sporadic shift of Lith's character. He acts as an experienced, yet emotionally numb man for the first 220 or so chapters, but then - BOOM! - he's a drama queen edge lord crying and throwing tantrums left&right. View More

Izabela_Hojna: Calling whataboutism here is incorrect and it actually defies the point of whole tu quoque branch. The fallacy happens when someone is messing epistemological and moral spheres, claiming someones argument is incorrect or false because of him acting incoherently with it. Here however Phloria only did moral estimation of Lith, and expressed rather basic axiological stance that you shouldn't do to other people what you wouldn't like to be done to you, therefore ending at the Protector and Solus side. She werent seeking objective truth about any of the specified acts, but asserted her subjective moral stance about the whole picture. English is not my strong side, if any part is hard to understand I can try to explain it further.

Deadman98: It's complete bull that Lith's lies are comparable to Protector's lies where his lies only affected himself Protector lied to Lith about his death knowing that it would cause untold pain and suffering in order manipulate him into his own ideas of who Lith should be. All the while roping in the few people Lith actually trusts into betraying him irreparably damaging their relationships when the inevitable truth comes to light. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
