Read a little more, somehow out of every boring and generic plot device the author could use.. he chose a tournament format... during the apocalypse... and is giving backstories couple chapters at a time for useless trash characters even a pedophile groomer... disgusting novel

Didn't mention intelligent mc but i can tell he's quite stupid and poorly written in the early chapters. Why did you have to follow the generic "hide my strength" plot?

60+ chapters into the novel and its the basic cliche trash plot. born with some random master training him then dissappear with mid time skips, village attacked and thrown into another town/sect to cultivate and decides to play dumb and hide talent cuz plot. The plot in this novel is written based on convenience and rarely from any contrived thought process. Terribly written only worth a binge

mediocre at best, very early into the novel so i can't say for certain. Author portrays the main character as brilliant but you can read the bottleneck in the character development due to the author's skill and literacy. Main character is able to instantly understand memories of previous body and understand the feelings of those intended to be in his circle, we are told consistently that he is a smart boi. However, moments are saying he is smart, main character sees a lady's purse being stolen but because she has a sad face he tries to stop thief and dies (super smart (no combat experience)) main character who mocks servants for beating him up and saying he tripped and fell, proceeds to fall and touches up a beautiful girl (molested) within moments of first seeing her. main character who clearly thinks to himself that a person is suspiciously leading him into a lonely area and feeding him suspicious tea, further considers that the tea is poisonous, drinks tea anyways and gets poisoned. perks of the novel so far, author clearly read divine throne of primordial blood, if not i'd be suprised. novel starts as a bootleg version of dtpb (mysterious stranger benefactor causing lifestyle change, everyone forgets about mc due to temporary retardation, mc gains sanity and pretends to be dumb to see how people react) its pretty nice of a plot but horribly executed. i'd like to think author mixed up "cliches" and "candy" and just figured "people like candy right? i'll throw a bunch of those in my novel" will update review if further story is anything interesting. probably would be a decent novel to a very new ln reader.
