if this is being written in real time rather than translated from a complete work, then PLEASE stop with these "little did they know" kinds of sentences. it really kills the suspense. you were building tension with the monster army, shifted to her recovery and used it to build more tension that this disaster is going to be major, but then derail it all to say "oh but something good is going to happen for her." just let the story take us that, the hints kill it.

Irina grumbled in frustration but little did she know that this sudden turn of events would turn out to be a blessing in the future.

it's likely because she still doesn't know FH fused with Davis' soul. she likely thought that the minute they arrived in the higher plane, FH's enrgy signature would leak and be traceable. however, FH has already fused with Davis and undergone mutations, so it's energy shouldn't leak until Davis actually uses it.

man i really enjoy the premise of this story, but the execution is just too off-putting. this chapter info dumped all of Lilith's past but for what? the main character isn't learning any of this information! us readers are learning about a rank beyond supreme, yet the MC hasn't even hit the first level of magic or journeyed anywhere smh. he isn't being told the info, moreover can't even use the info, so it's useless to us right now. I'm really late to read this story but my advice to the author is to redo this. as it is, we keep getting pulled out of the scenes that are happening to be told something that isn't vital to the MC at this stage of his life.
