OverturningSeas - Profile

So far I liked the way the story is slowly building up. The slow encroaching of the elements of the demons and how the world around them all is slowly changing. All of that is well done and well thought out. The writing is also pretty good and engaging. I'm intrigued enough to know what happens next. As a person interested in the demons and angels and all that lies in between, and not finding a good book dealing with them, this was an excellent read for what it was.

The point off is for some of the puntuation errors and grammar stuff. Other than that for me this was a plain old nostalgia trip, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z were my childhood. So it was fun meeting those characters once more in those situations. The ideas of this novel are rather well thought out and the characters are interesting as well. Give it a read if you like DBZ. That's my recommendation

I really liked the set-up of the world. Now while the synopsis has suggested a little of how the world works, in actuality, it's much more interesting and humorous. Will suggest for those who like urban novels like return of the immortal cultivator and strongest abandoned son. While different from the above this novel is good enough to get there.

So I was hooked from the start. The story's witty, the characters are funny and quirky. I would sum up my experiences in a simple way. If you like funny rom-coms then this is a good novel to get into.
