Good stuff, still waiting for the next book/ sequel. Before returning to this book to give my score, I was reading the author’s other work which is being translated with a different setting to LoTM - ‘embers ad Infinitum’ - but with many similar elements as well. EaI feels less focused and different, with me reading it on and off, unlike LOTM where I kept on wanting to read the next chapter as soon it was available.

Not sure if “she undead” is a typo or Charlotte is seeing her weakness from the female undead she kills 😅

However... the more she undead she felled, the greater the sense of inadequacy inside her became.

The movie theatre is more of a brainwashing facility than a pilgrimage site IMO. But I guess with how extreme and opinionated people can be nowadays through the influences of different forms of media, I’m not surprised anymore 😅🤷🏼‍♂️

The Prophet felt like those humans looked like they were going to the Weissenasche Theater to make a pilgrimage.

Even though Joshua's sudden shift to the main topic caused the mages to gleefully take out their 'notebooks' to absorb all programming related knowledge, it greatly vexed the merchants that became all enthusiastic after being fed the 'pie' drawn by Joshua.
