Wow, 3 zombies are blown several feet back with 1 shot. I’d be surprised if no one has mentioned this, but you’ve watched way to many silly movies. Think about it for a moment ... no bullet can ever hit a target with more force than it leaves the gun with. Our mc can fire the gun with no problem ... if that same shot can throw 3 adults through the air, why doesn’t it send him flying 20 backwards while breaking every bone in his body? View More

Sigh. So we are expected to believe that a person who we know as a few days ago had $10,000 in the bank, and now makes $800 a day fighting, can pay for a woman who drives a 35 million dollar car to school to go shopping? After eating at a place that probably cost $10,000 for one meal. Hmm. View More

So, our mc, who is absolutely obsessed with making money, and has great experience with the whole virtual fighting world at least as an observer, is first surprised that he could make money fighting, and now accepts a fight for $100 that he could have easily gotten several thousands for, just based on those interested in watching. I think the author forgot his own characters personality traits and skills. View More

So, no chance a game would include something like full sensory deprivation. That is literally a torture that will quickly drive a person insane, or at the least lead to life long phobias or psychological issues. View More

I have to say, I’m pretty sure my very first act after noticing I suddenly have a healing factor would not be to give myself very painful injuries, and cross my fingers hoping they healed. My first thought after not burning my hand probably wouldn’t be that I have the magical ability to control and create fire. Perhaps the most bizarre leap the mc makes so far is to link his unconscious healing ability to being able to control someone else’s nervous system ... guess we’ll chalk it up to the insane thought processes of teenagers. So I’m confused. I get that adding this black energy can increase the effectiveness of a pill. I don’t understand how it can make the unusable pills, as in having no effect at all, trash, into super pills. And that, after a kid with no idea at all what he’s doing, takes the literal trash pills, adds random amounts of random material at a random temperature for a random amount of time. Suuurre. I’ve lost track of how often the author tells us that someone wasn’t using their full power during fights, while they are having the crap beat out of them, or wile their companions are being mortally wounded. I would think people should take life and death struggles more seriously. View More

What is with not completing sentences? Seemingly, about 1 in 4 sentences are incomplete, not just missing words like “the”, “a”, or “to”, but vital parts ... “I was quite surprised to find out that I advanced four moves and my circulation had reached.” ... had reached what? Knowing what level he’s using that exercise at is pretty much what the story is all about, how could you forget to finish that sentence? View More

So ... hopefully this will come out as at least somewhat constructive criticism. I’ll first suggest you would be better with no cover picture than the extremely crude one you have. Second, I doubt you even realize you are doing it, but seemingly half of your paragraphs and sentences start with the word “So”. It’s distracting, annoying, and while I might be mistaken, I think it’s just plain wrong linguistically. Third, my first 2 points, combine with the somewhat awkward phrasing and pacing, strongly point to needing a good editor to work closely with, and possibly some writing classes to help polish your writing if you are serious. Sigh. After reading the first few chapters I thought the author was just overly enthusiastic, and a very green writer. After reading several more chapters, I realize the author is overly enthusiastic, a very green writer, and 12 years old. It’s painful. View More

It’s amusing that everyone keeps telling him it’s not his fault, when it certainly is, no matter how you look at it. He was the leader, so it’s his fault. He decided to evolve in the middle of the most dangerous area he could find, against advice at that, so it’s his fault. He let his emotions rule in a dangerous situation, so it’s his fault. Just accept it and move on. View More

It’s getting really annoying how the author keeps adding, changing, or plain forgetting things they wrote just a couple chapters ago. This is what you get when you have no idea at all where your own story is going, but just keep writing almost randomly. View More

So apparently I missed something big. It’s been repeated many time that everyone needs Garen to authenticate whatever is found underground. So here’s my question ... why? Why should anything need to be authenticated at all, considering all the booby traps, and deaths proving its real? Even if something needed an expert to look at it, why does the whole world believe Garen to be such an expert? He was only introduced to 1 person as someone who could “feel” certain types of items. Also, if any of these powerful, mysterious people get a magical treasure, would they not just try to USE the damn thing? Wouldn’t that prove of it’s real or not without some outsider telling them? Sheesh. View More

So seemingly every criminal organization, martial artist, and person with a little power is after the exact same things Garen is, and he hasn’t bothered to ask anyone why? It might make me a bit curious, not to mention worried, that so many people are trying to collect the things I need to upgrade my abilities. View More

I’m a bit confused by a lot of these comments. I’m not sure I like the story or writing, but I don’t understand all the people complaining about how bad the translation is. Granted, I’ve grown used to overlooking a lot of errors while reading translated stories, but so far in this story there hasn’t been a single glaring instance of bad translation that Has stood out to me. The writing style itself seems a bit odd, but the translation is certainly better than average. View More

Really amusing story, if with too many mistakes of various types to bother going into now. Just thought I’d comment on something that’s been bothering me for most of the story. Our MC has pretty much made no money at all in about 450 chapters, while spending fairly huge amounts on all kinds of random things. He makes $500 a day selling pancakes. And that’s it. That’s all he does other than cause trouble. Presumably his disciple/slave makes a little bit doing fortune telling, but it’s never been mentioned. Somehow the man who was close to starving on the street in the first chapter, became the laziest person in the city the moment he gained the ability to make easy money. Kinda annoying. View More

You need to change the currency you are using. Dollars doesn’t work at all. Even the original $6 for a pancake is too much for a street snack, forget the $20. And a chicken, rice wine, and some small gifts worth thousands of dollars? Not likely. Maybe thousands of yen or whatever. View More

Lot of people saying he’s smart to be lying about, well, everything, to his parents, because he can’t tell the truth. I’d first have to say “why not”? However, if he simply wants to keep secrets, why not just say, “I’m sorry, I can’t tell you”, or “I can’t get any extra”. Why insist on lie after lie? View More

So I’ve been wondering from the beginning ... why exactly is the mc keeping almost everything a secret from his family? It feels like the author included that simply because it’s a common plot device in similar stories. Not a single reason has been given or even hinted at in this one though. It just seems like he likes lying to his family. View More

So the story is well enough written, and it’s nice to read something that avoids some of the overdone plot devices of these stories. Unfortunately there’s nothing added to replace them. It makes for a somewhat boring story in my opinion. If you are going to remove large parts of the drama, violence, and angst, you really need something to fill in those areas. View More

Ok author, you went waaaaaaaaay to far with this nonsense. In the span of minutes, you’ve made a nobody into a super villain with godlike resources and connections to supernatural forces, completely out of nowhere. That’s just incredibly lazy writing. View More

Kinda interesting that the author keeps saying that real military men will abandon injured comrades without any hesitation, as well as sacrificing them in order to hide their own true abilities. Most would at least pretend to follow the “no man left behind” creed. Don’t think I’d care to be what the author considers a real military man. View More

Hmm. You must have missed the parts describing every major power in the country sending their students to stay in the same building, and every one of them knowing who he is. And the part describing every powerhouse around showing up to fight over him because of the commotion his cultivation caused. So yes, it’s explained many times that everyone with any power or influence already knows who he is. View More

Seronis: they know SOMEONE is. They dont know him. There are no cell phones or digital photos. Vocal descriptions have lots of room for error and if you just move one city over no one will 'know' you and now you are just 'that 2nd level guy who showed up'.

Sooo ... no one bothered to explain why he should take those pills. The entire city knows he’s a rank 4 dual cultivator, the entire world will know in days. What exactly is the point in going through that torture and pretending to be weak when everyone knows it’s not true? Seems to be a pretty big plot hole to me. View More

So, not that it actually matters, but in this chapter you said a person can give 350 ml of blood every 3 months, and make kinda a big deal of him giving 300 ml all at once. When you donate blood, you give about 475 ml, and are allowed to do it every 2 months. So what he did really isn’t anything much.

Like I said, doesn’t matter, but I get bothered by inaccuracies like that. View More
