lol, it's totally fine. I actually learned a lot from you, which I find very interesting. I haven't played a lot of GOW, except maybe the first entry in PS2 back in 2007-2008, I think. So, your comments are appreciated. :)

The Thracians were a particularly fierce culture with their affinity in violence and conflict. They associated themselves with the god of war, Ares, from the Greek Mythology who was born in this world full of stories about strife. The god of war was said to have been born in Thrace, thus its citizens heavily worshiped the god; and due to this, many of the Balkan city states hated them in revulsion for having such a barbaric god.

I see, that's interesting to know. That only cements to me that some games are like fan fictions. Hahaha. Like how Kratos' son is the god of mischief.

is that an actual mythos though? I never bothered to read the story itself. But I know the game, GOW.

no, but it was easy to speak with a translator back then, or at least greek. Thracian are Hellenestic, so they speak Greek. and it's almost a must for Romans to be able to speak that language.

The Roman calvary stood stoic, not a bit fazed despite the unending hurls of insults from the citizens around them. If it weren't for one of the tribal elders a battle would have definitely occurred. Thrax stood on the side as he listened to the Roman envoy, who was ready to convey his message.

This could actually be emphasized further if only WN allowed italics.
