I still don't get the relationship he comes from a military family why wouldn't they protect one of their own

As Ves hung up, he sighed. Seems like he was pretty much stuck with Dietrich. Besides, it might not be a bad thing to develop a closer relationship with the heir of Walter's Whalers. His men could keep an eye on his workshop in his absence. He didn't fully trust his basic automatic security systems to keep out determined thieves.

unfortunately this is one of those stories I have to drop for being unrealistic wolves not to mention dire wolves which are supposed to be bigger kill adult males so a 8-year-old who got beat up by other 8-year-olds would be crushed up bones and wolf fecal matter not to mention this is some kid who didn't make it past 10 so it's not like he's some great hunter or mage who was reborn and so maybe have some tricks up their sleeve or experience to fall back on

Needs a lot of work seem to have some good bones but the execution is horrible. I really believe it should be taken down and rewritten and it will then possibly have a future

kind of feels like nonsense you shouldn't be his first day practicing with that wolf so it should be more disbelief that he finally got there then disbelief that he doesn't one day that doesn't make any sense

I have quite a number of ideas in mind regarding its progression but I'm more than willing to change things up if any of you have interesting ideas. For now, I want the MC to focus on the aspects that make him unique rather than having him follow a generic path of cultivation. He will become strong, sure, but, as he has mentioned several times till now, strength is just a means to an end. If you expect him to suddenly start behaving like the psychopathic and murderous MCs found in most cultivation novels, you're probably going to be severely disappointed. He might kill someone who is trying to kill him, but, no matter how you look at it, it isn't 'normal' to believe that wiping out entire clans and stuff is 'necessary' for survival. If you had that kind of power, you could literally just walk away and there is nothing anyone could do to stop you xD...)

so this is kind of both to you and the author so yes from a optimist standpoint it doesn't make any sense to kill off an entire family if you're strong because you can walk away but the fear that I as a realist would have is if they couldn't touch me what they touch my family you can also worry about being attacked when You're vulnerable and can no longer run away.
