NVMY: Well, first read it trouth, I think you didn't understood the situation, first of all, yes he woke up with girl in bed and yes she is CEO, but he didn't say that he can cure her with his knowledge, after all he cured and made her more beautiful during their intercurse, that's all. You didn't even read 📖 (novel) and already judging, that's only shows your small IQ. And even if you don't like these type of novels, then just don't read, for me this novel is fresh even among the reincarnation's/transmigration's. It's funny to read, yeah maybe main character a little bit too op but well... I can't judge much only by 12 chapters, at least need to read 100-300 to have a better understanding what writer wanted to give us and what he'll give in the future... No rage, that's only my point of view, have a nice day.
B.Y: NVMYThe Man from Hell
Daoist_Zheng: Meh, super cliché on the first chapter, with super poor editing and translation. Honestly, worse than MTL. At least the editing should be readable no matter how ****ty the story is.
The opening is so cliché, on the same bed as engaged famous CEO beauty with 'hidden illness that only Great Me can miraculously cure with BS medical knowledge'.
Ignoring the fact that he was transcendental being got ambushed and somehow reincarnate cliché, the outline of the story is quite bleak. What's next? Arrogant young master who despises peasants? Ex-GF who broke up with him for being good-for-nothing? Stupid clan head who knows nothing about stop and reconcile? Unbending police waman who tried to frame MC at everything? Troublesome High schooler? 'Chinese are trash' JP mob? 'We are better' Indian crowd? 'world hegemon' USA? Etc. Etc. Etc.
And treasure? 'Oh, I found it accidentally on the flea market' space ring? 'as many as weed' herbs? Notebook talismans?
From the techniques, it has to be either "my previous one is good, but...hidden technique that I accidentally found in ancient ruin which I cannot cultivate due to BS" or 'my previous technique is out of imagination cool'
Tell me, which one of these are not there? The Man from Hell
imple978: Full of plotholes. MC discovered a hidden quest that billions of others did not over a century. This quest was in plain site. I mean, look at all the speedrun of any games out there, people find out everything. Novel story drop terribly when the story moved into being a harem. It's basically him finding more girls to bang. Girls that fall for him are one dimensional. Follows the "he's nice to me, he seem confident and powerful" trope. When I said bang, I wasn't exaggerating.MMORPG: The Tales of Souls
LordSputnik: Honest Review
The Good: Love the background of this! Nothing very new, but still different than a standard video game novel. I also like it that it doesn't have any reincarnation or some other cheat system like so many on here do.
The Bad: MC started out good, but he suddenly went dumb around chapter 44... The women swoon over the MC waaay to easily, the plot convenience is very strong in this, like how does he happen to find a legacy item when the hundreds of thousands before him missed it? The gaming system itself needs improvement, it feels like the author doesn't have much experience with gaming. This isn't a bad thing, but going 4 months without even getting one level is a little much. Lastly, premium chapters so soon is terrible... It's not hard to tell this is someone's first novel and charging SS for it is a bit shameless. We may love those kinds of characters in novels, but not in real life.MMORPG: The Tales of Souls
AzureMystic: Id like to start off by saying that the concept behind the novel has alot of potential, four races create a vr mmorpg where participation is somewhat mandatory after a certain age and most conflicts are settled in game rather than real life.
However none of the important parts of the novel are explained such as why his parents dont help him out when hes just starting out or play with him at all and why his school is so loose with rules/regulations regarding the game when they dont teach anything else, how he manages to find a legacy item somewhere that hundreds if not thousands of people visit regularly for years, the small amount of classes even though the game has been running for hundreds of years, the company/ people behind the game i dont think was mentioned and they have not become a huge super power even though they built something so important, why three women who are 7-9 years older than him fall in love ludicrously fast, why he gains a huge amount of money but hides it for fear of the government coming after him instead of using it for his family, why a 16 year old kid doesnt act like one when hes had a relatively normal upbringing and doesnt have any actual issues and one the author claims to be shy and introverted doesnt behave that way half the time, why the MC has actually no friends not even close acquaintances even though he has lived for 16 years, why people treat NPC’s like dirt even though being courteous at least leads to more opportunities and quests even after hundreds of years of the game being around, how the MC seems stronger than average characters even though he hasnt put any points into stats (before he gets his wolf partner), why the “CLASS” quest that he gets requires him to run all over the game world before getting ANY ability or even the class name, the authors fetish with black cloaks and the way he introduces them, why does the MC need to keep everything a secret when the major powers offered him benefits in exchange and the did so somewhat respectfully instead of chasing him down and killing him to level one, why he bought a mask if he doesnt take off the cloak around people except his harem and NPC’s.
I have a lot more things i could add but i already passed 2k characters so ill end it there, but please get an editor and translator, everytime i read a novel like this i cant help but feel it would be at least 2x as good in the native language of the author and a “rough” translation to english brings the story down.MMORPG: The Tales of Souls
TheCkh: You hit the nail on why haters tend to dislike Tomoyuki's stories. His work is riddled with cliches, but only because he lets them thrive. Entertainment is derived from characters pointing out how irrational certain cliche ares. Even if it means compromising the authenticity of his story, Tomoyuki is content with keeping cliche elements just so he can harvest jokes out of them.
Granted, this style of parody writing can get easily grating; making fun of cliches is a cliche in itself after all. Tomoyuki's adherence to parody, while being his greatest strength (being his motivation to write), is also his greatest flaw. Because Tomoyuki chooses to write like this, his stories feel somewhat artificial. Most of his characters act the way they do because his stories need cliches to be made fun of, not because they have complex thought processes.
In a way, one can argue that this limitation applies to all forms of parody, and I don't disagree. I just think that Tomoyuki has it within him to come up with an engaging original concept that doesn't rely wholesale on parody, even if he doesn't agree with me. The parody can toned down in exchange for a more fluid story. I written my other gripes on chapter 76, so I'm not going to write them down here.
Now that I explained why I agree with you, let me make a case on why you should Tomoyuki's stories anyways. If you're going to read a webnovel story, you might as well read Tomoyuki's. His writing quality is vastly superior to most webnovel authors, and I'm sure his ardent fans would agree with me. His actions scenes are well written on a technical level, his descriptions varied despite the many fights present in his stories. If you scrutinize his writing with another popular webnovel side by side, you'll find that Tomoyuki's prose is stronger.
He doesn't rely on cheap transitional techniques like --Flashback-- nor does he needlessly capitalize his words. He appropriately uses dialogue tags, employs good diction, varies his sentence structure and he doesn't skimp out on descriptions. If you choose to nitpick with a critical book analysis lenses, then Tomoyuki's writing might be marked down, but for what it is, its good. He might not be among the best literary writers, but he is a good writer.
Keep in mind that Tomoyuki maintains this level of quality while pumping out each chapter in 3-4 hour intervals, so cut him some leniency. If he makes a writing mistake, its more because he's too busy writing new chapters than any misunderstanding of the english language on his part.
That said, I can understand if you are too turned off by the cliche elements to enjoy Tomoyuki's stories. If you can look past that, then his work will be a good read. If not, then you're looking at the wrong tree.Summoner Sovereign
JC192209Mun: F**k my other review! Here’s a REAL REVIEW! The story progresses slowly, but it feels real. The mc is likable. Not a d!ck. You won’t see him do a lot of *sskicking, but when you do. It’ll be glorious. The writing quality is nice, characters are fleshed out, and there’s stable updates. So overall, 10 outta ten.. or is it 5 out of 5? You know what, I don’t care.Summoner Sovereign

CloudyAlliance: Not really surprised, how could I? You can see it miles ahead after brandish made him a butler. But oh well, it was forced by the circumstances and brandish is a *****.Sis-Con with Dimensional Chat Group · C301
EVE_CHAN: You guys should realize that all of your arguments wouldn't work at all because there's already 50-70 chapters ahead in patreon, so no matter what you guys said wouldn't change anything at all.
This is also the reason why i hate patreon chapters, we can't give advice to the author either because they already post dozen of chapters ahead in patreon.Sis-Con with Dimensional Chat Group · C301
Lee_christmas25: Yes really disappointed that the author didn’t describe the scene ;)Sis-Con with Dimensional Chat Group · C301
VictorWalker: MC IS A HYPOCRITE !!!! he says he doesn't want to have this kind of sleeping life with several women while he is dating but at the first opportunity he contradicts himself ...
I prefer Yuuki As MC at least he's not a hypocrite and goes around fooling his women ..
I bet the author will use this excuse of magic to go around collecting women for the harem like pokemon ..
I thought he was going to mature to be equal to the MC of the other author's novel '' yuuki '' at least this MC is not a hypocrite he is honest with himself and his other women.Sis-Con with Dimensional Chat Group · C301
kazuyagami26: I think this development is too rushed... and well whatever it is your right as the author to write whatever you want. But still, thanks for the chapterSis-Con with Dimensional Chat Group · C301
tekite: That was bad. Like so stupid and forced. This Brandish seems like a dog**** ***** too. What haooened to Megumi and Sora? What happened to Kanzaki? You can literally go and ask any fucking one of them and tell them the truth, and they will help you. Willingly. Why you gotta go and do this ****? So fucking stupid.Sis-Con with Dimensional Chat Group · C301
iAlexKing: Disappointed, I am. But since he gained this magic, he knew it would happen. It seemed like she had the ability to predict that this magic would be used just to catch a new girl.
All this talk of not betraying Megumi and just presenting a character where some readers were excited to put her in the harem and what happens? This ****.
And man, I'm a person who likes harem stories, sometimes fits the plot well. But the way you develop this Harem is disappointing.
Dude, for a guy or a woman to have a relationship with multiple partners you need to talk and understand the partner as well as acceptance. What this MC is doing is basically very stupid the moment he fell for sister when he was dating.
I know many will agree, but then it seems the author is so focused on creating a harem that he is not fucking with the development of the characters in the story ... And this can be confirmed when any girl he interacts minimally falls in love with him. Not even the other stories by this same author are like this.
Well, all this text I took time, which I shouldn't, because it's just a story of a guy he can do whatever he wants, all this text boils down to one word:

LaughingClown100: Who here plans to drop it because the Fairy Tail Arc sounds Repitive with the "OOH Great Cooking" part and he is an idiot for dooming himself with not buying because what if something happens in that world before he stops the side effect and his pride just dropped to 0 in sec and also because he could just be himself and strong then to pretend to be weak and be a pushover which allows them to take advantage and extend the stay and so on and my words have a tint of sarcasm out of _______ AngerSis-Con with Dimensional Chat Group · C295

Daoist_Jie: While personally I am not a big fan of “everyone deserves to be saved” precept, this is a very calming and refreshing read. It’s about a guy who is suddenly gifted with a system and forced to become an abbott in a lonely Buddhist temple. He has to complete quests and redeem/ save people to earn system merits. It’s best to just let the story wash over you and read it lightly instead of thinking deeply about the morality of various issues (which can make you angry or happy, depending on your personal views). I learnt a lot about the structure and politics of temples, which was interesting in of itself. The Monk That Wanted To Renounce Asceticism
Heretoc: I have huge expectations from this one!
Around 1500 chapters and a 4.5+ rating from almost 1300 votes ( probably. Didn't understood the table.) Author himself is a 5 star guy.
I did read a few chapters but dropped it due to personal issues.
Firstly, it's a system novel. Yup, the system. And system novels are rarely bad. You need just another level of talent to make system novels bad.
It has lots of buddhist stuff and MC starts as a handler (?) / guardian of some temple. But since I stopped around ch 10, I don't have much idea what happens later.
My friends have read the whole thing and according to them it's a 'Definite Read.' And they are very choosy. So yeah, fingers crossed.
So for the first time... I am rating a novel with no translation with 5. Plus it's Cktalon.. He's awesome. Lol.
Will put a proper review after 250+ chapters. The Monk That Wanted To Renounce Asceticism
I'm at chap 5
And he can't curse , he cant be angry, he can't show an angry face even when someone disrespect him inside the temple in front of him
Even Buddhas get angry or show an angry face (I think)
Is he gonna become Buddha?....The Monk That Wanted To Renounce Asceticism
