Yes I know that fact. The comment was meant to be a joke. But it's still sad isn't it? Defending outsiders over a family member even if you hate them. You would think maybe he will stop to have a few thoughts of questionable actions even if he doesn't believe his sister. But I guess the incident fueled the fire even more so now he is totally biased against his sister and with how he is still in a depressed state over his injury isn't helping either. But I supposed that when people already have a bias mindset and adding on to another factor that continues to fuel that mindset, it won't change anything. And at this point he is also only thinking with his emotions and blindly following whatever others are saying.
